Whatever happens it weakens Putin's hold on power. Wagner will sit back and see who supports them, then go again .
Disappointing, was looking forward to that. It may still be a mortal blow to Putin. There's no hiding what's been going on now.
Bizarre. Wagner have agreed to stop the march on Moscow in exchange for serious changes in the Ministry of Defence. So Putin looks weak and Prigozhin or at least an ally takes a seat at the top table. It's nothing but a ceasefire, I can't see how two ego's so out of control can live with that. Putin will try to kill him if the opportunity arises and Prigozhin will go against Putin again the second that it's in his interests to do so.
He's better off going on the run isn't he? Where to? God knows. He's gone all in then asked for his chips back before the reveal. Insane.
I feel like there might be a little bit more to happen here. He must know that's a giant target now on his back.
A few on twitter saying that this has allowed Ukraine to push forward with their offensive. Some Russian units have headed back to Moscow, **** knows if that's to fight for or against Wagner....
It's like when one woman reports a rape by someone well known. The police announce it then sit back to see who else joins in. Wagner will know they've weakened Putin and will be hoping other Russian military join them imo.
Yep. Time will do for Putin now. Once an all powerful dictator stops being all powerful, he can never be the same. The mutiny would have certainly failed unless huge numbers joined them, which was definitely possible, but the doubts and damage are done to Putin now.
