Near enough the truth that mind.

Russia is a mobster state, with Putin being head gangster for all his time in charge.

Putin has been an unmitigated disaster for Russia.

If it was all sorted tomorrow, which is impossible, he has set Russia back numerous decades. They will never recover properly in any foreseeable future, and will become the lackey of China, which has long had eyes on much of Russia's Eastern land.

Will we see the West looking to move on Belarus if this descends into all-out civil war?

Lukashenko's reign looks to be on shaky ground and nuclear weapons placed in Belarus is exactly the kind of ammunition needed to remove him and allow for "fair" elections that put a more western friendly government in there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Poland especially, was champing at the bit to shut down that threat on it's borders.

It's a weird scenario but civil war in Russia is the best answer for everyone not Russian I think. Prigozhin doesn't win easily and any actually power grab by him will see a lot of Russian regions looking at independence. Putin crushing this rebellion easily isn't ideal as he can keep focus on Ukraine. I think it's a lost cause at this point, but I'm hoping a drawn out civil war would allow Ukraine to recoup it's lost territory without much of a resistance.

Hopefully Russia crushes Wagner. Prigozhin is calling the Russian leadership weak for not using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. I have a feeling things could be a lot worse with that maniac in charge.
 
It would be good if Wagner & Psycho Putin were to severely weaken each other as a start of a civil war, which would confirm to any Russians that Putin's war is what the rest of the world know it to be, despite what he's been telling his countrymen, and at the same time decent Russians will let him know their feelings :emoticon-0148-yes:

That's bollocks . . . . I want them all to realise what a stupid mistake Putin's made and get rid of him by whatever means :angel:

Seen a few tweets about lots of private jets heading for Turkey from Moscow today. Rats are abandoning the ship.

Crazy day over there today. Its all moving rapidly towards total chaos. Putin having nukes was bad enough but this Prigozhin bloke is another level.

There have been videos posted of his lot casually queueing up in shops buying their bait in full camo gear with their weapons alongside civilians. Absolutely mad.

They are from the same accounts that have posted legit stuff in the past and been there since it all kicked off. Sky and BBC have tweeted a few as well.
