I never say BMW drivers are bad drivers - they're just arseholes :)

Stereotypes!! Agree totally with you - it's the first time since the late 90's that I've watched England and actually celebrated when we've scored. It was a tricky game against a decent enough side (best African side at the moment) - Look at how Argentina, Germany and Brazil got on. Even Spain - played much better football than England but still drew their first game.

It wasn't a sparkling performance - there was some nice football at times sporadically but we won. I have a want to see England do well. First time in ages that I have said that but I really do and I actually want to watch them play

Thing is I would expect most strikers to ignore that call!! My son wouldn't listen to anyone else if he has a chance to score - it's his ball and he's the centre forward. Would you expect Shearer, Phillips etc to have left it? Both to blame really

I was disappointed with them and expected more than the gamesmanship that descended into farce. VAR needs to be used against holding in the area as last night was beyond a joke.

Yep - the ref was happy to accept their spoiling tactics. The more he let them away with the time wasting, the more time they wasted.
Dunno where the ref was from, but I bet he holidays in Port El Kantaoui with plenty of freebies

I'm just flabbergasted that they allowed themselves to indulge in such obvious tactic with VAR hanging over them. How they got away with it i do not know. Dodgy.

I thought he looked like he'd taken a bong, didn't seem arsed about anything.

Columbia look pretty ****ing good considering their best player is out and they were down to ten men after 3 minutes. Cheeky free-kick. Either lucky or genius. Not sure.

Falcao is a filthy diver mind.

On today's showing Falcao would run Tom Daly close in the next Olympics.

Slightly off topic....can anyone explain to me please why England's home strip has blue shorts? It's bugged me for years!!
I'm guessing it's cos of the blue in the union jack... If so then that makes it worse cos the blue is for Scotland?! Imo our home strip should either be our away strip Red top, white sorts and red socks OR all white with red trim. Nee ones probs bothered but like I said it's been pissing me off for years!

It isn’t, but the Three Lions signify England football rather than England, and they are, always have and always will be, blue.

The Three Lions is the Royal Arms of England’s or summat, they had blue claws originally, modified slightly for football/Cricket.

Not uncommon of course, Azzuri of Italy play in all blue, yet their flag is red, white and green.
