One day it might occur to a Belgium coach that Hazard and De Bruyne don't work in the same team as they keep getting in one another's way trying to get into the exact same position. Of course it might dawn on somebody when one of the players retires or flounces out of international duty because of reasons.
Hazard and De Bruyne? I just don't think that their system makes much sense.
If you put Hazard on the left and De Bruyne in the middle of a three, then it would work fine.

Martinez is doing the usual international manager mistake of picking good players and forcing them into a team.
Hazard, Carrasco, Mertens and Lukaku doesn't really fit into any system.
You could leave one out and it would probably work.

Del Dies showing a hell of a lot more sense than the Oily Rat fanboys

I missed five penalties in a row and I was still Diego Armando Maradona. The game and the two points lost by the team are not down to his penalty. He showed his face and gave everything he had to give. The 'kid' did his duty. Seeing him on the field, he was pretty pissed off. Just like I would have been. It was all him, he always had to shrug two players off and when he did, there was no pass open.

Belgium's set-pieces are as bad as ours. I guess that they don't practice them, either.

2-0, Lukaku. Some nice buildup play and a very nice cross from the ginge.
Decent header, too. Not offside, despite the VAR referral.

Dembele replaces Carrasco. WTF? He was playing as a left wingback. Back four now?

Panama could be absolutely ****ed by the time England play them. They look shattered.
Quite a lot of bookings too, which probably won't help.

So let me see if I've got this straight: Sweden wear yellow and South Korea wear red...but FIFA said South Korea couldn't wear their home kit because of reasons?

The most logical reason is that Sweden having a red goalkeeper kit may have caused a clash - but Sweden's second GK kit is white, so why couldn't Olson have worn that one and avoid the general ****wittery altogether?
