Who would you have instead? Squad looks pretty average to me, and light on midfielders. But off the top of my head I can't think of anyone who is missing who should definitely be there. Not sure on the logic of taking 3 RBs as well. If I had to make a change it would be Alexander-Arnold out for a midfielder, Shelvey maybe.

A lot of defenders. Welbeck has been dogshit this season, would have preferred to take Maddison or Sessegnon.
Feel really bad for Ox he would be definite starter for me. Hendo/Dier midfield pivot is so predictable, yet still so uninspiring.
You need to take different players who offer different alternatives, when we are in need of an equaliser with 20 minutes to go. That's why Lallana would definitely be in my squad. There's even an argument for someone like Carroll, who against the right opposition, is an absolute weapon. I don't mind Welbeck going, but the decision to take 6 fullbacks and only 4 strikers is weird. Anyway, good luck to the boys. Just don't embarrass us as much as in the last two tournaments, and give us something to cheer about. That's all we ask.
Rose made 10 league appearances all season, injury prone and is a bit of a prick. However, many on here have questioned Ryan's commitment in games this season and it seems to have bitten him square on the arse. Feel a tad sorry for him but not much.
You can't pick players based on whether or not they are 'a bit of a prick', because we'd only have about half of that squad left.
Haha yep true. Rose obviously impressed more in the games he played, thats not his fault. I do wonder if Ryans mid season attitude hindered his chances. With Rose only playing around 15 games in all competitions, Ryan must really look in the mirror for any blame on missing out. Just my opinion of course.
