Do you think Clarke would want to come back? Imagine being headhunted away from your current job, increase in wages, saying your goodbyes, party, slice of cake, balloons etc, only to find after a few months you were in fact not even needed, sitting around doing next to nowt. Your employer calls you in saying that they have made a mistake but been in contact with your former employers and being told they are willing to take you back. You would feel a right ****ing nob!

Well I’m taking it as gospel you’ve gotten my hopes up I hope you are happyI'm simply praising a fellow poster on his optimism my friend![]()
I would echo the suggestion that its going to be hard for ANY player coming in, that isn't a starter, to make an impact. But we were never likely to bring in a new starting striker ahead of Isidor. There just isn't the budget for that and frankly January isn't the time to be splashing out loads of money on a mian striker.
Realistically whoever comes in as this additional striker only needs to score a couple of important goals to get us points to have made the impact we needed.
Our promotion fight will come down to the 2-2s versus Plymouth, the 0-0s versus Burnley etc. A Danns goal in either of those would have made him worth it alone.
I dunno. I've seen plenty of people leave jobs for a bright new future, only to realise that the grass isn't greener. They quickly ask their old boss if they can come back and end up slotting back into their old team without a hitch - usually with a payrise in their pockets. He's inside his 6 month probation period after all!Do you think Clarke would want to come back? Ha well I've personally done similar in my own career. Obviously not in any way relatable. But I moved companies and hated it and went back 6 months later. Didn't feel a knob at all myself, in fact I was excited to be back amongst my mates "enjoying" work again
From what people have said about Mundle's injury, we need to treat his return with proper kid gloves and not rush anything. If Jacky were to come back, surely he wouldn’t want to go back to Suffolk at the end of the season.
I don’t think he will (but believe he could), would we want him to be brought back for good if we went up?
Disaster at Ipswich but would it be different if he slid into the league ‘at home’.
I honesty think if he’d hit the PL with us it’s a different Jacky.
But then, Mundle genuinely does have a higher ceiling and better balance to both feet.
One thing is certain, Jacky would have an impact. Mundle is nearly fit but he’s gonna take 4-5 games minimum to get back on full steam. That’s a big chunk of what’s left of our promotion season.

Cant relate to it either. I've had the one and only job for 27 years.![]()

Clarke back would allow him as much time as he needs to get up to speed.
Id have him back in a heartbeat

Yeah, we don’t wanna rush him back and he’s gone for season, with no cover.
Edwards signed for Burnley. £8million obligation to buy is a steal.
