Not sure what to add to that - full back cover would be good, but RLB will argue that Seelt, O'Nien and Hjelde can cover those positions
An extra striker? Would be nice, but are we bringing in someone to start ahead of Isidor?

probably cost them lot more than that if Wycombe miss out on promotion by selling him
Going up costs more in most respects but does mean you can sell players for better fees. I suspect the deal is low up front fee and Wycombe would rather have a bigger guaranteed component.

More to backup and rotate with Isidor. Mayenda's composure isn't good enough yet to be relied upon if Isidor is injured. That's my thoughts anyway

Hmm. Rotating an in-form striker. Would love to be a fly on the wall for that discussion.
I hear what you say, and I DO think we will being in a "forward" but more likely a Mayenda/Boradhead/Borini type who can play a variety of positions...

Yeah a versatile one would be the aim which is what we seem to be targeting according to RLB

Surely there's more to a football career than cash ...

... I doubt Montgomery would swap his FA Cup winners medal for a Ferrari.

If I'm wrong then what's the point of it all.

Of course you swap an office job, for a much higher paid office job, but football is supposed to be a dream job, not just an income.
If it’s for a club you have a connection to absolutely but if I was 21 then my first choice would be Sunderland. There’s probably half a dozen I’d rule out for various reasons and personally I wouldn’t want to go to Saudi for all sorts of reasons but generally if it was a substantially better offer you’d have to consider it.

We need a new
If Akpom comes will he be a starter and Wilson drops to the bench?
Wilson will be first choice whoever we bring in and rightly so
