... I doubt Montgomery would swap his FA Cup winners medal for a Ferrari.

If I'm wrong then what's the point of it all.

Of course you swap an office job, for a much higher paid office job, but football is supposed to be a dream job, not just an income.

I really hope it's Akpom but if he was flying over for a medical I think we'd know more about it by now, even as tight lipped as we are the Le Fee story was known about before he flew over

You'd expect somthing from the dutch though, or atleast from that turkish one who first reported it. Ajax seem to let a few leaks through

What does the Saudi team get out of this, though? A 6 month loan at the cost of £30m?
 
The echo confirmed our interest in a loan for Akpom today btw, hopefully that plane does mean something <laugh>
