Heard a rumour today, which is only a rumour I have no idea about. Neil might be away in the Jan window. Clubs who have shown an interest before are coming hard. Is there an issue with a contract here for him? Spurs are the club mentioned.

I tend to think it wont happen. Not a single player can play his role. Unless we sign one. Boy how do I wish we had kept Michut, he was the perfect challenge to Neil imo.

He wants to play in the premier league with Sunderland, that's from someone who has a connection to him. I can see him leaving if we don't get promoted, can't blame the lad if we don't go up and he gets an offer.

Would be amazed if he goes in Jan unless it's for big money

This. All players have a value and if one of the Prem teams comes in with a big money offer then i'm sure it will be considered.

Borussia Dortmund are ready to move for Jobe Bellingham - and set him in the footsteps of big brother Jude.

The German giants have stepped up their interest in Bellingham junior because of his displays for Championship high fliers Sunderland.

Jude was a roaring success for the Bundesliga club when he picked them as his best step after leaving Birmingham City.

And Jobe is showing signs that he has similar ability to his England international big brother.

Dortmund were due to send a top spy to watch Jobe at Preston last week but they changed plans after the midfielder picked up a three game ban.

Sunderland would want around £20 million for Bellingham Mark Two but Dortmund back their judgment with cash.

Meanwhile Nottingham Forest are chasing Sunderland’s Chris Rigg AND new star Tommy Watson.

Forest are in the growing hunt for Rigg but have also been after left winger Watson for a couple of years, as we revealed, and knew he would be in for a debut against Preston.

Unfortunately England youth cap Watson was played on the wrong wing which made it hard to judge his display. Brighton and Crystal Palace have also shown an interest in him.

£40m + sell on and they can take him in the summer.

Well they'll need to improve if they want to go up
Leeds are favourites but still feel there's a mentality thing with them

I think there's only 5 teams that can get automatically promoted this season

Us
Leeds
Sheff utd
Burnley
Boro

I know some aren't keen on boro but feel they are a pretty complete team and have depth

It might cone down to which of those teams have the best window
