"Russian football insider Ivan Karpin also proclaimed on his Telegram channel that Sunderland is not paying a loan fee. Karpin also claimed Zenit are footing the bill for 100% of Isidor’s €1.1 million salary for the season.

The journalist who first broke the news, Andrey Pankov, has also reported on his Telegram channel that there is a buy-out option (with un-listed clauses that must be met) of €4 million at the end of the loan period."

Cheers mate, hadn't seen that. £4m would be an absolute bargain from what we have seen to date....i guess we need to take that negotiated fee as being a fluke considering KS doesn't have a clue & was trying to buy us another winger & by pure chance the lads decent up top<cool>

I think he would cost us Chris Rigg if the rumours that MUFC are really keen on him are to be believed. Much as I love Amad I would find that cost too much to justify.

Agree with that. Guess its a case of lets see if he signs a new deal at utd, if he doesn't they will activate the one year extension & look to shift him on in the summer surely rather than risk loosing him for nowt......at that point lets see where we are as a club, although im sure he will have better options than SAFC, Man Utd wont be keen on selling to a rival & considering the mess there in thats half the table

Technically summer window news but the fee for Isidor to become permanent was reported by a Russian journo when he signed as €4m

the echo has released today that the clubs have both agreed the fee and it becomes automatic if we get promoted, but if we stay in the champ we get the option to trigger it.

also said that there shouldn’t be any issues with the transfer with the whole Russia stuff, as it’s been agreed by all the authorities involved

If all true, shows the quality of our recruitment management and the way our club is being ran.

I'd assume enquiries for the likes of Jobe and Riggler are inevitable, even if concrete offers aren't tabled.

Loans for Jewi Bennette, Ba and Zak Johnson look realistic unless we get a few more injuries.

Aouchiche, Joe Anderson and Rusyn could be moved on for cut-price deals. You can't win them all.

There'll only be two or three of our first team players in which there isn't serious interest! :emoticon-0102-bigsm Shows we're doing well. Also explains why our squad is being filled with talented likely replacements, some of whom we haven't even seen yet.
Talking of replacements, I remember when we signed Mundle it was seen as a strange move. Decent money for someone who wasn't going to be a starter. Fast forward 8 months and we can see it was a brilliant plan.

Agree mate. One of the more pleasing things for me this season.....amongst others!......:emoticon-0102-bigsm.....is that we don't appear to be missing Jack!
When you consider he was widely thought of as our best, sometimes our only, attacking option last year, that's remarkable. Funnily enough,I don't think Mundle had his best game for us on Saturday, but some of his play has been Jack-esq.

The problem we had is our club has never done planning before! <laugh>

Never mind signing a player who will replace x when we sell him next season we would sign a player for the first team because he was available and would come with no plan of how or if he fit the team!

Who was the striker we allegedly made a big bid for right at the end of the summer window? He’s at a French club if I remember correctly. Someone mentioned we might go back in for him in January but I can’t remember his name. And now with Wilson doing so well, Connolly having joined, and Mayenda and Rusyn available- will we still bother?
