Watson stays, McAteer in, I think thats a fine window. Add a full back then I think its been a very good one.
I think we're good. Le Fee and this lad from Liverpool, also keeping our players, this has been a good window if it ends that way. Rejecting the big bid for Watson says a lot about the clubs resolve and that they understand the value of our players because that lad can go right to the top.
I think he's right footed, took a pen with his right foot in the highlight video I just watched definitely more comfortable on the right wing though.
I really hope Watson's head is in the right place and wants to stay and sign a new contract. £13m is a hell of a lot to turn down if he does want to go (not saying he does).
Half expecting a tweet to say Watson has stopped in London on the way down and is now having a medical with Spurs after agreeing a £15m deal.
Shows they are not a soft touch either. As all signs indicate the lad was up for it and Brighton were pushing and it was quite public. Yet it hasn't got to a dea that works for the club yet so it's not happening.
Noticed he's played in quite a few positions over the past couple of seasons. Mostly used as a winger recently but has some experience centrally and at fullback as well - comparable to Harvey Vale's versatility. Could be a very useful signing if possible.
Thats a shocking fee. WBA losing their keeper to Ipswich and Fellows to Everton for less than £15m on the same day. Wow.
