Let's hope something in it then lol
Here's Le Fee leaving Rome. I assume he's not the one lighting up the cig

I haven’t got any followers but I have, completely accidentally, been ITK twice. Once about Howard Wilkinson which I refused to believe but should have put a big bet on and once about Kieran Westwood signing. lack of followers certainly implies it’s nonsense but it just could be true.19 followers mate
Everything was in its infancy then. The team has matured and we now have a squad of very valuable assets. The board can take the odd gamble safe in the knowledge that they can cash in an asset to cover any unforeseen expenses. If this lad signs I think it says a lot about where we are. Firstly,it demonstrates real ambition, which reinforces the information we've been getting under KLD and KS. Secondly,it indicates a confidence in RLB,the like of which we've not really seen towards previous head coaches. I know TM was backed with Dack, but it was hardly on the same scale as this move.
We've got one....Elizer.You must log in or register to see media
Wilson Isidor man. Can’t wait to see him feed off Le Fee’s through balls. I would like another striker just so we are fine if he gets injured or needs a rest though
as I just said OTR it’s a big difference for committing to a 4 year contract at £69K per week to paying 6 months wage (loan fee)If we are paying his full wage now, for the next x games, that is a benchmark the club have set as what they are willing to pay for a player right now. We are no doubt mid negotiations with other first teamers on a new deal. Dan Neil, team captain, being one. Why would Dan, for example, be out of order expecting the club to offer him the same? Would the club offer him the same? Then you have agents, seeing this as opportunity to do what they do best.
If we get promoted, and he has a pre-agreed salary, then you can expect a raft of other players demanding the same or more.
It feels like a big rod for our own back to be honest. I really hope he is worth it.
This sort of thing has caused problems for football clubs for a long time now. Man Utd are the best example of this. They have brought in players from other clubs and given them huge contracts, like Mount. Now Mainoo is up for a new contract he wants a massive bump to at least match Mount. They are unlikely to be able to do it so he could well leave. The local lad out of their academy who their fans more associate with. And who is the better player as it turns out.
I am basing all of this on the gap between Le Fees weekly wage paid for by the club and any of our other lads being significant. I read somewhere Ballard is our top earner and on around £20k. Suggestion Le Fee is on double. My experience is upset can be caused when some folk get paid significantly more than others.
According to some on here Romano is the arch truth speaker. His every tweet is hung on. He says we are covering his wages. Whether we pay them to Roma up front, monthly really is no different to if we paid the same amount to Le Fee dirrctly. That is the cost to the club of Le Fee. Roman has put that in the public domain. If his wages are significantly more than others, then some others may be a bit narked. It may cause soms resentment. Then again it may not.
Imagine being part of a project team at work. You have had an absolutely brilliant first half of the project. You are delivering faster and to a higher quality. The mgt team think wow, we might be able to make even more money faster off this than planned. Lets go and bring in another project team member, on a much bigger salary, to try and finish what the existing team have started. Some may think, great, I want success, some others may think what about my reward? Human nature.
My last post on this, I am an outlier here and I dont want to rain on the parade. On a football level I will back him 100% and hope he does a brilliant job and becomes a Sunderland legend. I am not against the player, I trust the judgement of others, I just see a few little red flags that may or not be a problem.

You'd imagine he comes in knowing he's 2nd choice if there's any truth in it mind, think full back is somewhere we need depthAlways liked him, def strengthens the squad
