i agree with what your saying but some fans aren't just 1 or two decisions, it's every single decision the club is making

the problem is and people don't like it but

we have a portion of are fans base that are very very toxic, and would rather have the club do **** then ever praise them, they club could 100% be better in some aspects, but it's also could be alot worse,

the same fans who always complain at every opportunity are the same ones saying SD and co put us back years, flogged off all are best young talent to keep the lights on,

3 years later after putting us back year and years

under KLD
we have one of the best under 18s team in the country
, have some very good young talent coming through
trying to keep are young talent

you keep hearing people say are model won't work but
we've went from 11th in league 1
to once again fighting for top 6 after every fan said the league was going to be much harder

we went from team with nothing

with a team worth between 80-100m
Well said <applause><applause><applause>

A long time ago I worked in Belfast for a while. I worked with a guy who was a top end hurling player. He took me to watch some games and it was unreal. I absolutely loved it, fastest game I have ever seen and bloody brutal as well.

He wasnt a great big lad or anything. Wiry would be the word. Fast as you like though and he could take the hits and give them back. They didnt wear any padding or anything, it was mad.

The ground was called Casement Park I think. Mostly standing and it was a hell of a good atmosphere. I think it has been derelict for years now though sadly. Not sure where in Belfast they still play.

Brought back some memories typing this. Always wanted to go to Croke park for the finals but never did. Going to have a look into that again, adding it to my list.

Wild isn't it. Such a skilful game but also about as safe as wrestling an angry gorilla.

Very entertaining to watch.

so do you think we should have gotten loans in and not played what we have? So we’d be in exactly the same place end of the season? We need to see if the lads we have in can step up and I think given game time they will.

Cut our nose off to spite our face by playing worse players just because we can say they’re ours..

Just going off reports but do you really think paying 30k a week for Moore is realistic? Carvalho would be on a good whack as well

We paid Amads wage last season? We’ve just spent nearly £4m in transfer fees, that’s a lot more than £30k a week for 14 weeks.

So in that context you would rather spend 30k a week on Moore than the players we've signed?

I’d rather have Kieffer Moore in my team for a fraction of the cost of a 20 year old who’ll sit on the bench when we already had a similar player sat on the bench who’s now been loaned out.

So 30k a week is a fraction of the cost of one of our players? No wonder the cost of living went through the roof!

are we EVER going to get a moderately happy fan base?

made the mistake of taking a look around the interweb and i honestly cannot understand where these people get off...it is only a relatively short time the club was near administration and selling off any pot plant they could for a quid or two, the change since then has been great with a definite plan (what most fans were screaming for) a young lad with a good knowledge of the game in charge (and enough money to keep us propped up if needed) a very good staff in charge of recruitment and currently, a few looking at ways to enhance the off field stuff and other ways to lift the income and status of the club.

no one has ever claimed, or will ever claim there is some kind of 'quick fix', of course they could throw money at getting to the end result quicker but how many times have we seen that approach fail (not just this club but many others)...i am sick to feck of repeating this but i am also sick to death of reading that 'we could have bought this one or that one' because we NEED them, while w ehave had some good strikers in the past you also need to think about those that were utterly useless at the club and some cost good money.

right now we have 4 lads that are classed as 'strikers', rusyn and burstow imho are the two that will get the time (hopefully) and also the service they need (also hopefully) and we could look back and think that they were good additions to the squad (final hopefully).

the premier league is not going to jump in our lap this season i dare say and when we get there it will not welcome us with open arms, the rest will want the points so it will just be a fight from day one and i would like us to be able to keep at least 3 teams below us and continue to improve...right now i will enjoy watching these lads entertain and improve but ffs, please stop battering the club from every angle, 'just a few quid spent' will not make us into an established premier club.

feck it, why am i even bothering again...

Also how much do you think Hemir, Bennette, Mayenda, Matete, Triantis, Aouchiche etc are on? Whilst barely kicking a ball? Wages we could’ve spent elsewhere on players who’d improve the team or are we paying them in biscuits so it doesn’t matter?

I think it needs the biggest array of different skills and pretty much most physicality of any sport I’ve seen or played. A friend played for Clare, nicest bloke you’d ever meet but clinically deranged on the field, possibly the toughest man I’ve ever met.

So going off your argument - say 3 or 4 players on 30k a week will improve the team. The club have come out from the very start to say they want to be self sufficient, Everton and Forest have been hammered on FFP, prem teams hardly spent any money on players cos of FFP in January so where is this extra £120k a week coming from?

It’s not as black and white (sorry!) as people try to make out though. If for example we brought Moore in and he was the main man upfront til the end of the season it would benefit the team now. In training every day, he can then pass on his experience and know how to the younger lads, teach Hemir how to use his strength to hold off a big centre half or how to jump early to get ahead of your centre half.
We then benefit now and in future when Hemir starts next season with a bit more knowledge of being physical.

You have to mate, otherwise the whingers end up believing they reflect the entire support ...

... I have no shame in reminding people they don't.

It's also possible that Moore said,

"Leave home and live in digs, for 4 months, in the far NE of England ... fck off!"

Have you looked a moore’s goals per games dropped off as he’s got older and his best season was in league 1 didn’t score for Ipswich last time he was there time will tell but 30,000 grand a week didn’t do it for me
