If it’s around £1.5m then he is absolutely worth a punt. On one hand he might be average for us, on the other he could turn out to be another Vardy or Super Kev. Obviously those are extreme examples.
Decent strikers are bloody rare these days and that fee is pennies in 2024.

It beggers belief we're talking about signing a striker for 1.5m in 2024 and debating whether its worth it, when nearly 15 years ago we were spending 2m on players like Rade Prica and Tobias Hysen and we didnt batter an eyelid.
