Probably could’ve tried that but their 2 CB’s are also massive so no saying it would work. We could’ve set up 5 at the back too which would’ve helped but we didn’t. Just think it was poor all over tbh.
Kevin Kyle up top would have made a difference

Not the case at all. We had to play out from the back because the ball was never going to stick up top if we went direct. Rusyn is a quality centre forward but he's not the type to hold it up. He wants balls over the top or into space to chase. Absolutely the right player when we're dominating possession but when we're not, we need a different option. A CF who can hold it up will make a massive difference to the squad because it will give us a Plan B.We had no nothing at all though we were poor all over mate the striker was the least of our worries on Saturday. Midfielders needing 5 minutes of the ball, defenders lunging in at the first given opportunity and having the piss taken out of them, wingers not tracking their men. Don’t think he would’ve done much in that game it was poor from start to finish IMO but I do agree he’ll be good for us.
Just getting him in won’t massively improve us

It was the lack of a plan he was shocked at and the missing owner he was angry at.
He refused to work with the McKays something I support if I’m honest. They are poison and Sam is an criminal.,Unfortunately they had all the power and as we saw with Kone, balls were taken home. Not excusing his statement or some of his decisions but the inability to provide us with a budget for a striker in the January window was the final nail on the coffin. Koyes should have walked at that point then it would have been clear.
Moyes brother is an agent, along with Viola were the ones the club dealt with, during his term here.

He never signed N"Dong, that was already in the pipeline even though Big Sam said he didn't think he was worth anywhere near what they were askingN’Dong - 14m
Djilobodji - 8m
McNair - 5m (fair enough)
Love - 1.5m
Gibson - 2.5m
Oviedo - 2.5m
Anichebe - free?
Denayer - ?
Lescott - ?
He had the funds to improve a side that was on the up when Big Sam went and he completely dismantled it and ****ed everything up.
Could he have said no?He never signed N"Dong, that was already in the pipeline even though Big Sam said he didn't think he was worth anywhere near what they were asking
So ten days in, have we actually been linked with any serious transfer?
Moore isn’t a Premier League quality centre forward. Can you really say with certainty that he could have made long balls stick when up against two big, physical Premier League centre halves? Not the case at all. I can say 100% it would have stuck more than it didMoore isn’t a Premier League quality centre forward. Can you really say with certainty that he could have made long balls stick when up against two big, physical Premier League centre halves?
Don't know mate , not sure who was making the decisions at the club then, very possibly but there's always been instances where clubs have signed players a manager didn't want.Could he have said no?
No, he might have had a torrid time against them. But I wasn't referring to Moore specifically. Any player who can play that type of game would have given us a better chance of playing a more direct game to beat their press. Rusyn, although he tried and won a couple of headers that he had no right to, isn't that type of player.Moore isn’t a Premier League quality centre forward. Would have made us poorerKevin Kyle up top would have made a difference
He would make a difference obviously but we need more than just him. Our players aren’t as good as some make out and adding one big lump up top won’t turn us into challengers overnight.
Players are being recalled left right and centre then sent to other/better clubs. Shows the importance of loans at this level and we’re not arsed by the looks of it. I said yesterday I’m reserving judgement until the end of the window but I don’t think we’ll offer to pay as much of a contribution of Moores wages as some of the other clubs around us and that’s what’ll decide where he goes.
I would agree that the whole thing - Moyes, BSA, Short etc is evidence that we are so much better off. People having tantrums about the club not signing players must have forgotten how unbelievably ****e many of our previous signings, processes and methods were and how much money they wasted.Plan for what, recruitment moving the club forward/improving? I'm shocked he was in the job before he knew this, I mean companies bullshit and lie in interviews to get people in so it's possible but as I said it was known there was something not quite right so why didn't he do more to push them on a plan before he took the job? If a plan is what he wanted.
The agent stuff fair enough, it was said at the time they had been offered new contracts by BSA but they never happened once he left. One question about this though hasn't it been suggested before that Moyes does similar and like to work with a certain agent who is a family member?
****ing hell the model of head coach is so much better! It's grim thinking managers sign players on how much they can make on the deal, not always what's the best deal for the club! What stops a manager chucking a extra £0.5-1 million at a deal if it makes him £50k?
Would be called insider trading on the stock market?
