that would be an interesting window, if Clarke and Roberts went but it brought in a New Striker, DM and Full back would that be considered a good window?
Not sure we need a full back tbh , it all depends on the injury situation, but we do have cover and don't always have to play the standard back four. 3/5/2 can be just as effective, and I would like us to try 5/3/2 more often, it worked a treat not that long ago.

We definitely need a left back mind.

Alese isn’t a traditional fullback and Cirkin and Huggins are both crocked.

Was thinking Full Back as Huggins is out for a long time and Cirkin just cant keep fit

Don’t think we’re in a rush for a left back, pembele getting minutes in is more of a priority for me Hume can cover on the left maybe at the end of the window if any are available. What we need in now is a dcm and a striker, the sooner the better.

That’s been the case for a while now so I’m not particularly confident we’ll get what we need.

Paqueta and Bowen injured, I can see this one happening, be interesting to see what we do with a lump of cash if nothing else (if we do sell)

True, but I was thinking even then we have Seelt, Alese. Hume , Pembele and O/9 who can all play there , and we could also give our home grown players like Johnson, Taylor, Crompton etc a opportunity now and again, you never know, right place right time can spring surprises.

I would like to see Crompton get a chance he always looks good when i have seen him with the U21's

If Clarke goes we don’t need a like for like replacement, we just need a decent winger who can provide service and create things and we need to put most of the fee on a decent striker who can get the goals for us. We would play as a better side overall than relying on Clarke I reckon. Gotta trust the board to do that though

Think it's rusyns best position so maybe we could give him a go there that's of course when we get a striker in or "if" we do

Not that we don’t NEED a like for like Clarke, if he goes we don’t WANT one.

We want a winger who crosses early in that scenario.
Think we do want a player that contributes the goals n assists that clarke provides

There arent many wingers about whose 1st thought is to cross the ball.

Clarke had 21 goal/assists last season n 14 so far this yr. He would be a massive loss for sure, if he does leave i could see rusyn being used as LM.

If clarke goes then important that we sign players for now with the money

Im not suggesting we want Clarke to go mate, im saying if he does we need a winger who we are less reliant on to carry the team and who is more likely to put balls in the box early.

Believe me id rather keep Jacky, but it’s very difficult for us to move away from ‘give Jacky the ball and hope for some magic’

I get that mate

We want wingers who score goals n contribute goals to the team - through 1st n 2md assists. Clarke can be frustrating at times but hes a game changer n we would need similar to him if he goes

Im not fussed if the winger crosses it more or not, all about whether we still have xfactor players in the final 3rd
