Teams like Forest, Wigan, etc who despite having a load of financial bother in the past......go & do it all again

Can't remember that goal but you are right gave it his all and put himself about often doing a lot of good work other than scoring, so much so I was hoping he would get one and get really going! Never happened just couldn't do it at that level. His step overs for the penalty that time were mesmerising though!

The step overs were hillarious

I am convinced he scored against Arsenal and the ref ruled it out to give us the advantage? I am officially an old bastard today so maybe I have it wrong :)

Very unlucky, goal should’ve stood from what I remember. Altidore had some decent games here but overall he was garbage.

You are absolutely correct. It was that grey haired bastard Martin Atkinson, I wouldn’t say I hold a grudge (I do), but one of the worst decisions I’ve seen. Altidore shook off Sagna, no mean fete in itself and slotted it in the corner. I honestly to this day watching the replays later on MOTD, believe he never gave the free kick till Sagna hit the deck.
