Well that’s terrible from our club and it’s no way to treat a player. I don’t think he should have refused to play but if that’s true, I can totally understand his frustration and wanting away from the club.

So what you’re saying is, the club made an offer to the player and the agent and then changed it within the space of a few days to a none offer?
You would think that now Pritchard has burnt his boat he can quite easily say what has really happened. At least it would be his word against people who are guessing.

I agree, he's shown total dicrespect to his team mates. He's not a team player and I won't loose any sleep when he ****s off.
Why would we offer an improved 2 year contract to someone that very rarely got through 90 mins and turned it on when he could be arsed. The club have made massive errors over the last 18 months but on this occasion I believe they are correct.

I really dont get this whole pro pritchard thing, he refused to play for us and folk are sticking up for him.
If the club only believe he is worth a 1 yr extension then we are right to only offer hin that
Pritchard isnt the long term answer for us, very inconsistent and we have to play 4231 to fit him into the squad
Folk have an agenda against speakman and will use any rumour to beat him over the head with it. Has speakman made mistakes, of course he has but hes also got loads right - he is more important to our future than pritchard
Folk sticking up for pritchard because they like him, if that was say burstow refusing to play for us they would be destroying him saying he needs to go n should never wear a sunderland shirt again
Nothing wrong with pritchard wanting to leave for a better deal btw but i dont agree with refusing to play

Yeah probably needs a new thread. But I do hope that the player himself comes out and says his bit. From what I have been told, I am on the players side.
Folk will always pick sides, no matter what i say youll be on his side and no matter what you say ill be on the clubs side - nothing wrong with either as its our opinions

He’s been offered more from 2 other clubs is what I’ve been told. Simple as that. SAFC didn’t move the goalposts.
We were fine before him, have often been fine whilst he’s been here and not selected (he never established himself under any gaffer) and we be fine when he’s in Turkey playing in front of 3,000 fans for a team with no history.
