I don't think we do, we've kept three consecutive away clean sheets. The issue isn't necessarily with the defence.
It bloody well is, our full backs aren't good enough. Although with drameh it's mainly consistency as he does have a good game and then makes a mistake which costs us, it's what happens when they're still young.

So it should also apply to Matty Jacob who's the same age as Cody Drameh and has played significantly less games.

I agree they are not good enough for this level of we want to push on. However neither was Vinagre, Elder, Fleming, Giles. And Robertson had to learn how to defend when he came to us.

Robertson got beaten to headers at the far post on a noticeable number of occasions . I think people forget that .
his defensive capabilities have increased immensely at Liverpool, fair play to their coaching staff.....whenever I talk to mates about Robbo and how he's turned out I always talk about Odabajo and how that promotion season he was probably a better player than robbo, knee injury robbed him of a potentially top class career

I always thought odubajo was going right to the top

just had a look on his wiki page, whilst not making it right to the top, heartening to see that he's managed to rack up a decent number of appearances at a relatively high level in championship and greece, glad it didn't ruin him entirely

He might’ve done but he was also very effective going forward instead of hitting the first man every time.
I also recall when he first came under Bruce how many times he beat the full back and screwed a shot wide , v rarely a high one and never pulled it back , Klipp got him to do that , so maybe our two have a good bit to learn too. Trouble is we don’t have time !
