This is the guy who's never played higher than League One?

No Championship experience at all.

A bit of a risk. Like Charlie Hughes and Abu Kamara he's not going to hit the ground running.

It'll take time.

Time we don't have.

Probably best if he goes out on loan until the end of the season.

Doesn’t sound like we’re close to any left back

That isn't news. We need to have moved on last week or the week before.

Looking at our signings and our squad and manager now
can we just restart the whole season ?

This has been the frustration all season for me. Such a wasted opportunity. We did this whole crash and then rebuild cycle in 2022/3 and got ourselves into a position of competing for the playoffs, and indeed almost making them. It really is such a failure that we got back into a position of having to survive relegation and rebuild the squad again. As soon as we sacked Walter I was confident we'd do that and we look well on track now, but it's still so frustrating that we're back here again rather than competing at the top end.

Enough games left to still compete for a top 6 and a few results helping on the way so not all bad, stopped thinking about relegation after the game Friday and just thinking about if we can do a Forest with the last 17 games, unlikely but opportunity is still there.

It's beyond unlikely. We've improved but we're not going to suddenly go on a huge run of wins.

I guess maybe, even though he’s from York, it’s quite a move to uproot from Southampton to hull for his family etc. And Watford whilst not round the corner, is a bit closer. So he’d see more of his family. I guess it’s easy to say oh they don’t want to come anyway, but when I need a new job, I take loads of stuff into consideration, and location is often a massive factor.

Why we won last 3 away we only need to try do same at home maybe now players have the right roles and will just go out every game and produce a good result.

Bet some forest fans said the same when they were in this position that we won’t go on a winning run and it’s to late.

There isn't enough games left. We had this discussion in Acuns first season when everyone got giddy but it's not as simple as looking at the points gap to 6th.

Except they weren't in this position at this stage of the season.
