Wow captain hindsight.
My point was that we aren't cut adrift. Portsmouth lost 4-0 on Friday night ffs.
They also lost like 6-0 to stoke not long ago
But theyve shown they can score and win games

We are at the bottom and 4 team ahead of us has 2 games in hand and a point. We need to pass 4 teams, not 1, not 2, not 3.Wow captain hindsight.

And they've shown they can get smacked.

And you are telling me our goal difference is good. Who cares?
You realise games in hand aren't automatically wins, right?
Goal difference means we need less points to go ahead of teams, you understand that right? When we were drawing to Cov we were out of the drop zone. It shows how tight it is. I don't know why I need to explain this.
Do you know that one of the postponed games is Oxford-Plymouth? 2 of the 4 teams we need to pass? Cardiff playing at home against Watford, while Portsmouth has two games, one at home against mid table Millwall.
You realise that when you are bottom team of table, statistically means that you have less chance to win a point in away game than any other team in classification, that's why you are at bottom, and your opponents are actually playing at home, more favorable matchups.
Anyway whole point of discussion, we are not that charming anymore for players, we can't convince many players to 1.5 years contract because most them will be risking playing in a lower league.
No that's not good, because you don't need to pass one of them, you need to pass all of them. So they are playing each other means at least one of them will increase point difference.Fantastic, that guarantees at least one of them drops points, which is basically my entire point.
Oh the statistics say we're more likely to lose? Well then may as well stop the season now if that's what the statistics say.

Dude it is good if you are playing for playoffs, means most of the teams are already winning.Teams above us dropping points is good. If it's one of their games in hand which you're claiming is part of why we're in such a tough position then it's even better.

We are fighting for relegation, which means most of the teams are already losing, no points around. They are playing each other means at least one will get points, while they usually can't.
Relegation dynamics is different than upper table dynamics.
If we can free up some loan slots, someone like Evan Ferguson at Brighton would be a good target. He’s not had much game time this season but knows how to score.
Ali Al Hamadi
Broadhead
Conor Townsend
3 players we could raid from Ipswich who’d transform our season
Playing every game for us and steering us clear would do wonders for their stock. None are playing ATM but do take your point we won’t be top of players listsNeither would come here. If they dropped a league. Why not Boro, Watford or Wednesday?
Al hamadi could def do with more championship play time
He doesnt have much at that level or higher
Townsends from ull, maybe regular game time and local area
Maybe that could get them here lol
I would think very few, if any. Based on their performances this season who in the Championship would want them? The players are not going to want to move to lower leagues and lose their current wages. Only chance we have of a clear out is those players out of contract at the end of the season.
I accept Walters was a poor manager but we were really sold some poor players and I have seen nothing to suggest they may come good. Durban and his beauty team need to go. They did nothing at stoke and so far have done nothing here.
I understand we are without 2 of our top players and the missing link or should that be Sink but even with them we are still shipping too many soft goals and there is a lack of leadership on the pitch.
does anyone think we have any semblance of a leader on the pitch?
