I just think we need to shift to a back 3, our best wide players on the attacking side is Giles and Coyle probably in terms of delivery

 

I agree with the idea of a back five, but I think Coyle’s delivery can be incredibly poor at times with a lot of his crosses floating over everyone and out of play.

 

I was right that this squad is poor regardless of manager.

 

Emmanuele Dennis and Willy Boly

 

Thought about the latter the other day, has been really good in a back 3 in the past. Probably expensive though

I dont think we are going to go to a backthree at this stage

 

I think the problem with a back 3 is we have no real cover at CB atm other than Burns.

One injury to any of those players and you are changing formation again.

In hindsight £10m for Delap which was in the public domain early doors, should have been the deal we tried to do.

 

As soon as the Prem came calling that was dead in the water.

 

I haven’t seen any official gossip regarding transfers except Mehlem. What happened to the one possibly two in before the Leeds match.

 

I have never been Longmans biggest fan. Having said that he gives his all which is all we can ask.
If he moves on good luck to the lad and I wish him well.
