Maybe controversial but I'd rather have Palmer than Omur.
I was really excited when we signed Omur. He a nice neat tidy player but doesn't create chances or score

Omur has forced a few fantastic saves, and I’m sure created a few sitters for the likes of Slater to miss. Goals and assists aren’t the be all and end all, although I would agree his end product has been well below the standard the rest of his game sets for himself. Last season at least anyway. He’s looked like a competition winner this season.

The only reasonable conclusion to draw from Omur's ineffectiveness this season is that he was given the space to look good last season by the quality of the players around him.

Nah, it's the #10 shirt. You wear one of the 7-11 shirts for Hull City; you're not going to be any good, even if you were previously.

I think you're onto something here. If I had played for City I would have chosen one of those numbers, and as it turned out, I'm gash at football.

And then Walter came along, amiright? <laugh>

But seriously, Omur even last season was ok without being great. Never really clicked for him. Even with better players around him he got what, one assist?

The people saying Omur is ****e are the same people who said Walter would come good. Some people have an eye for talent and others just, don’t.

I am eternally hopeful that all players and managers will be their best versions at Hull City, but I think we can now chalk them both off. Omur looks bereft of confidence these days, and needs to move swiftly out of a team that's scrapping for survival.

If we play a formation that utilises a 10 then Omur could be pretty decent, as would Palmer.

But we didnt under Walter and we don’t under Selles, so these players don’t look good.

And some people just make **** up.

I never wanted Walter from the start it was obvious it wouldn't work however I was really excited to watch Omur with his talent but then he doesn't do anything with it

On his YouTube clip half the time ge seems to be playing centrally as a 10 and the other half coming in off the wing.
I don't know why but he just doesn't seem to be working out. He's not lived up to be the the Turkish Messi that he was labelled as.

He was never going to be that good was he. He wouldn’t have come if he was settling the Turkish league ablaze.

Don't agree Idi. Selles will improve Slater. If he starts converting the chances he will get a good quota of goals and I like the way he drives forward with the ball
