id argue the opposite he’s standing up to his doubters, the last thing that geezer comes across as is insecure he doesn’t give a ****
I see Will Jarvis has yet to start for Notts County. Racking up 6 substitute appearances and 155 minutes and having contributed 2 shots in that time. Not yet pulling up trees in League 2.
He held three Q&As before Christmas to try and justify his decisions. He uses burner accounts on social media to see what people are saying about him and his decisions. It's Elon Musk-tier insecurity of wanting to be praised and liked constantly. You don't see Tony Bloom doing this sort of stuff.
Gotta agree It is insecurity to be liked If a city fan said acun was **** at poker Hed sign up to the world poker champ to show hes not Tony bloom would laugh Its random but ive always wanted to fly in a small jet from humberside, thats just a coincidence though
Insecure? What a load of bollox!! Guy can't win with some can he. Tries to be (reasonably) transparent, keep fans in the loop, keep the club in the limelight, etc etc, yet he get's called insecure. Give over.
True, he is (or at least the club have been). Hopefully he finally has competent people in the building. It feels like he finally might, with Dublin and Selles in particular. Things many of us have harked on about for too long are finally being addressed, and hopefully the ridiculous churn doesn't need to continue.
The fact that he speaks to the media, to fans, etc doesn't mean he's insecure.. I welcome it rather than (ridiculously imo) accuse him of being 'insecure'. p.s. not for one minute pretending he hasn't made mistakes; he clearly has. So does anyone that's ever achieved anything.
Think someone's working overtime to justify a personal bias. A public figure being aware of and responding to what's said about him and his business on social media is somehow insecure? Well in that case there's a lot of insecure public figures out there then. As far as transfer strategy goes there seems to be building blocks in place for the future that should address the excessive churn we've seen, which seems to have come with the changes made in coaches position and in the 'brain team'.
Not at all. I just don't see why he gets some of the accusations, negativity, etc leveled at him. It's like some want him to fail, want to be negative for the sake of it, want to undermine him, etc etc. By all means question some of his decision making (like sacking LR <which was ok for me>, appointing Walter <which was ok on paper but proved a disaster>, the excessive churn, etc,) but let's not be silly.
I like these busy transfer windows, even if we were 10 points clear at the top i would still welcome 6 or 7 new players, January is a **** month and gives us something to look forward too...
Absolutely agree.... WTF do these people want from our owner.. I think I could pretty much guarantee another 71 clubs would love him as their owner and in fact a good few in the Premiership. Last season he bank rolled a push for the Premiership and was let down, then his side kick has patently knee capped him. He has other business interests other than Hull City, admitted he took his eyes of the ball in the summer and despite being in a relegation scrap found us a manager everyone seems to love and has again bank rolled a team that not only will assure us Championship status but, this time, has put the bricks in place for next season and the season beyond. If you think your £400 a year is funding this club think again. He's not a billionaire, a rich man yes, but he's done nothing but throw his CASH at this project. Vanity signings, **** off, insecure double **** off.
He's going to want the cash back though... The summer window was a disaster, and the club will be the ones to pay for it. He isn't giving us the cash for free, is he? I don't get why people get their knickers in a twist when people dare criticize King Acun.
