I understand the short nature and the mentor role of Amrabaat but keep thinking to myself…‘he’s 37!’. People are writing off Pedro off at 32…hope this guy has at least 20 minutes in his legs!
If Longman is going to Oxford, could the winger be Tyler Goodrham I wonder? They might be above us in the table, but we're certainly the bigger club and we'd probably double his wage.
Amrabat is a very good player and quite versatile, if he's coming on as a late stage sub then it's not a bad one.
As I keep pointing out; significantly less than Norwich and West Brom were paying for their squads, as per each club's accounts.
How old was the person who assisted that goal? I’ve no issue with having older players in the squad. However, if we’re playing Pedro as a false 9 we need two quick, mobile wingers playing off him, not a 37-year-old.
He pretty much agreed the second he let them put that clause in his contract, you don’t agree to that if you have no intention of going back.
The ‘mentor for Delap and Ohio’ excuse was used for Sharp. It was bollocks then and bollocks now. It had **** all impact. Isn’t it the coaches’ jobs to improve the wingers at the club anyway?
Many of us had our doubts about Pedro, well those doubts have well and truly been put to bed. Lets hope its the same for Amrabat
