The one thing this transfer window has quietly done, it has eased the discontent towards Jesse. That along with a cup run and it’s been a pleasant distraction from no wins in 5 in the league and 1 point above the drop zone.
On the other hand, after the support he has been given, there will be no place to hide if we slip up against Forest. There are huge expectations on the team now and very few would argue against this squad being one that is good enough for at least mid table.
