Not trying to **** on Adarma, as limited as I think he is as player, he brings a lot to the table that we need and can score goals unlike most of the rest of the team. We’ll get more out of him if we feed him enough of the right kind of chances of course and that’s probably enough for right now, but he’s not suddenly going to become a good finisher.

Yeah it's why it was painfully obvious he'd never be PL quality.

Yeah he did, and with Saints connections. His big two goalscoring seasons with Blackburn (19-20 and 20-21) he was often partnered by Sam Gallagher. And when it wasn't Sam, it was usually BBD.

Whereas in 18-19, when he scored much less for Blackburn, they hadn't yet signed Sam from us (and BBD was still a kid).

This is the last chance for it to not be longer than a year for my last home win as a season ticket holder whose missed about 2 home games in that time (one of them being the only home win of this season). 364 since that rip roaring 1-0 win against Everton.

Not altogether unhappy with him taking loads of shots., I think there were some earlier games when we had few, if any shots ,oat all, we fannied around in defence, midfield and forward line and got sussed out. I'm an old school punt the ball out of defence and shoot at any opportunity, occasionally the opposition defender will inadvertantly handball it or the goalie will have a mare (witness Blackburn goals on Saturday) Shoot on sight and the the other players be prepared for a rebound.
 
We have no choice but to play Downs as CF
Get players around him and win 2nd balls as he won’t win the 1sts
