    Hate to say it, but this was sort of believable for us. We've had the same problem for at least a season and a half now - we've known that we have the players capable of this type performance - and better, really - but for some reason they've been failing to do the job. The last few games have seen huge improvements in energy and attitude - and, sadly for you, this sort of result has been coming.

    I hope we can reduce the pain for you by producing the same, or better, performance next week when we visit your neighbours Blackburn - we owe them a thrashing after our home defeat earlier in the season.:)

    One Preston forum is full of people wanting the manager out. It is only a few weeks ago that ours was getting the same treatment from a certain element in our fan base.

    Hamer made some good saves first half but we were very clinical 2nd going by the highlights .

    A lot was made before the game, that being more clinical in front of goal was something they would be working on. Whatever they said and practised certainly worked.
