Looking like Davide Ancelotti (Carlo's son) will be offered the Rangers job.
Served me well as assistant in a recent FM game.
(Also one less club for Danny to get poached to).

Pun not intended by the way.I'm thinking it will be Still if Rohl turns us down/gets a better offer. I'd be on board with that.

Do you actually know anything about him?Not happy with Will Still at all. This is typical Sports Republic funding a young recruit for the future who will turn out to ve a complete mavetick. Why so we always go for a Leftfield option ? I thought Spor waa brought in to stop these wild card aopointments?
In my opinion we need simeone like Gordon Strachan to get the duscipline and fitness back where it should be.

Some choice comments on Facebook under the Echo piece about Will Still.
Two of my favourites:
“Pay whatever it takes and get Zidane Zidane in, or however you spell his name”
“Why do Sports Republic insist on getting a foreigner in”

Cooper at least has some PL experience to fall back on, I think Rohl will be totally out of his depth (assuming we get there)
He got sacked from Reims for results and has taken Lens, a mid-table team, to mid-table. I'm not saying he's a bad manager, but no one would've heard of him if he didn't have the 'I started on FM' origin story and his name didn't rhyme. Not saying he's a top choice for me over anyone, but interesting to see people think Will Still is some inexperienced unknown.
Years managing in top flight football:
Danny Rohl: 0
Will Still: 3+
In fairness, the reason everyone has heard of him is because he had an incredible start at Reims despite being extremely inexperienced. He got sacked from Reims for results and has taken Lens, a mid-table team, to mid-table. Although I agree with your overall point. He had one very good run and hasn't done much since. We would be taking a massive risk at the start of an incredibly important season because of one run of results. It seems stupid to me.
Yeah, a great run. But hiring someone based on 17 game is mental. Martin went 25 unbeaten last season, maybe we should hire him!Yeah, 17 games unbeaten in Ligue 1 with Reims...
