    Fez,

for me, but maybe not you, the question asked whether there were any others reasons for the move other than Allam getting revenge and the team wanting home supporters behind the goal. Both of which were suggested in another thread.

The reply earlier in the thread from OLM said that this is something that FLAG asked for a while back. Which is where my two questions came from.

Points 1 to 3 are my interpretations of the responses to DMD's question.

As to a better way of doing it. I've made my suggestions. First to make E1 to E4 the standing and singing section and ask for the co-operation of season ticket holders to make that possible. Secondly to have a meeting at the ground to arrange the move so more people could be together.

But life moves on, the eggs are broken. This season will show me what is most important standing and singing or a better view. After this season I may well be back in the East Stand.

I wouldn't worry, you can see the North Stand on the telly, it's got a goal in front of it.

A few hundred Ulltras from E1-3 had a representative on the FLAG.

Refusing to use our name of the renewal papers is a completely different situation, I still see the issue of our owner not accepting that we're called Hull City as being a way bigger problem than where we sit at the KC.

    A, how is n1 n2 n3 n4 out of view ?

I can see all the north stand from e1

B, if behind the goal view is crap why did many of us spend our early days on bunkers ?

The view from e1 of the south end of pitch is not that great is it

Shall we just all move....and see how it goes .

    :)

N1 to N4 are tucked away when viewed on TV compared to N5, N6 and N7.

We should aim to stick em where LFC do.

This has nothing to do with what can be seen on TV and everything to do with what the players see and what it's like for everyone else at the game.

Would LFC give away fans a bit of the Kop?

Would LFC shift the Koppites if they displayed their anti-owner banners?

Would the rest of the crowd just accept it?

We haven't got a kop, I doubt theirs would be moved whatever it said on their banners and question three is therefore irrelevant.

ironic that you picked them as an example, the atmosphere at Anfield was appalling this season, one of the most piss poor aways of the season.

I don't really wish to waste anymore time on the pedantry of this thread. But the question is very clearly stated at the top of the page; Whose idea was this seat move?. The OP was adamant that the question was simple and he was both rude and arrogant with anyone who tried to interpret it otherwise.
He had asked the wrong question and you are answering the one he should have asked. The post you speak of, from OLM, was very late in the thread and was not the answer to the six word question that was repeatedly restated.
Your good nature and common-sense is coming into play to off-set the arrogance and error of the person who asked the question, time and time and time again. So yes, I understand and appreciate where you are coming from, but this thread does not deserve it. <ok>

Irrelevant what the atmosphere was in one game against us.

    Big picture.

Your ground is a fortress not a community leisure facility.

Do you do aways Carmine? And if so, which grounds have a louder section than our East stand? I sit in the west, so it isn't some inter-stand bias as you appear to think.

I only did about half a dozen aways this season but none had a louder singing section than ours. Some are more influential on the players/ref whereas our lot groan at every bad pass but in terms of singing we're up there.

Most home crowds now are very quiet. People seem to think it's just us that isn't a cauldron of noise.

In fact since Liverpool was just mentioned, can anyone name a particularly loud opposition home support from the season just gone?

I do the odd away, usually 3 or 4 a season and I agree most are just as bad.

    Goodison was appalling this year.

I'm was in the SE corner last season and the noise coming from the South Stand some times sounds just as loud( or not loud as the case usually is)as the East stand.

It's odd how some perceive the area they sit to be really loud when nobody else does though.

Sunderland this year was a decent turnout and I thought we made a fair bit of din, the Sunderland board said we were almost silent.

I thought it was them just being their usual t**ttish selves but I spoke to one of our players who said it was a good turnout but he could hardly hear us.

I'm not saying the East Stand isn't the loudest, more of me saying it's not as loud as those who sit there think.

My mates who sit in The East Stand love giving it large to un non East Standers but f**k knows why.

The letter I got from the club states "North Stand to be made exclusive to home supporters" what happened there? is this just a blatant lie?

I've chosen not to renew, I don't like the view from behind the goal and don't want to pay £120 more for the privilege,

I'm really angry with how badly all this has been handled

On a positive note, I saw a billboard advertising passes on Anlaby rerd today. I think its honestly the first time I've ever seen City actually advertise in public.
