That's true. The result against Utd, us and then topped off with a Toon thrashing, shows that they are playing some great football and deserve their results.
Looks like tonights heavy loss for bolton secures wigans survival

No - its why they wer elame tonight - but I dont think you can use tonight as a barometer for the CL final.
You do realize they will be missing 4 players and 2 of their CBs have hamstring injuries right?
Yes I think that means Wigan need 3 from 6 to be safe.
I thought Bolton looked like they were going to get a 2nd goal tonight, but the game turned in spurs' favour in 2mins . . .fine margins and all that...
.I think them and villa are basically safe even without another point to be honest. Maybe wigan need 1 more point due to goal difference. But cant see qpr getting more thn 3 points and I actually think their goal difference could take a hammering last game anyway (at city)
Well if we cant beat norwich at home i dont even want to make the cl next year because we will just get embarrassed.Just to remind eveyone - whilst Norwich are on a bad run, less than amonth ago they beat Spurs at WHL. Anyone who thinks the Norwich game will be easy may be disappointed.
Oh dear - we have another MUST WIN game.

Bolton after scoring did get on top of Spurs and they looked good. A few corners where Davies nearly got on the end of them and the shot by Eagles. One of the reasons Spurs got the space on the counter was because Bolton really started pushing for the second goal.
And it was because of their naiveity defensively where they decided to go gung-ho which cost them some very cheap goals.
It now leaves Spurs 1 point behind us and 1 behind on Goal Difference. We need to win the next two games otherwise Spurs will get 3rd IMO.
Bolton had 25 minutes out of 90 where they looked like a football team. The rest of the time they were awful. Spurs looked like a team at least 2 levels in class ahead of Bolton tonight - quality build up play and superb finishing. If you think the two teams were seperated tonight by fine margins, then more fool you!
Yes, sadly they got ahead of themselves and left the spaces behind.
Spurs are actually 2 behind on GD. We have two games to play and if we win both then it's done. The players know they to have to win so hopefully they respond and deliver. Hopefully that goal last week gives starts a mini-goal spree for Robin.
