  2. Yes I think that means Wigan need 3 from 6 to be safe.

You do realize they will be missing 4 players and 2 of their CBs have hamstring injuries right?

I thought Bolton looked like they were going to get a 2nd goal tonight, but the game turned in spurs' favour in 2mins . . .fine margins and all that...

  5. BAyern have suspensions too. Have you learned nothing from the BArca game. Chelsea are tactically sound in the CL. They will defend solidly and hit Bayern on the break.

For us, we need to be assume Chelsea will win it and focus on getting 6 points form 6. Simple.

I think them and villa are basically safe even without another point to be honest. Maybe wigan need 1 more point due to goal difference. But cant see qpr getting more thn 3 points and I actually think their goal difference could take a hammering last game anyway (at city)

  8. Which also makes the Villa Spurs game less urgent for Villa.

  9. Just to remind eveyone - whilst Norwich are on a bad run, less than amonth ago they beat Spurs at WHL. Anyone who thinks the Norwich game will be easy may be disappointed.

    ?

Bolton after scoring did get on top of Spurs and they looked good. A few corners where Davies nearly got on the end of them and the shot by Eagles. One of the reasons Spurs got the space on the counter was because Bolton really started pushing for the second goal.

Well one thing is for sure, Villa won't leave them space for counter attacks... they seem content at just keeping clean sheets.

  16. Thats my worry too - we're not good at delivering in must win games.

  17. Bolton had 25 minutes out of 90 where they looked like a football team. The rest of the time they were awful. Spurs looked like a team at least 2 levels in class ahead of Bolton tonight - quality build up play and superb finishing. If you think the two teams were seperated tonight by fine margins, then more fool you!

Yes, sadly they got ahead of themselves and left the spaces behind.

Spurs are actually 2 behind on GD. We have two games to play and if we win both then it's done. The players know they to have to win so hopefully they respond and deliver. Hopefully that goal last week gives starts a mini-goal spree for Robin.

When the scores were 1-1, it was a tight game and Bolton got on top. Boyata left Bale get in behind him after going forward and that was the tuning point. Bolton, needed calm heads but sadly they lacked it.

  20. No its 1 behind on GD Jack - and I did tell you that Spurs would win tonight. I think we have had our gifts for this season. We either win our 2 games or we are in big trouble - not just this year but next because we'll lose players from the first team and will find it harder to sign top players in the summer.
