I hear you and echo all of that but it's 1 and a half hours from my house in Leeds to Sid James Park. For that reason I'd like Norwich to come down, it's a **** of a place to get to. Plus we might get Turner back and even Becchio (or are we aiming higher now?)
**** becchio, didn't want him before definitely don't want him now. Just a big donkey who seems as if he and the ball both share the same pole magnet. All he can do is header and fall over. I wouldn't go for turner either, as much of a legend he is, he's had his time with us, lets look to pastures new and let turner keep his reputation here well intact. If we or he has a bad season here it will tarnish him.
Would we want Turner back, would he get in front of Chester\Hobbs? (I haven't seen much of him playing recently) Aim higher, Danny Welbeck and Rooney dont seem to be getting much game time recently, or perhaps Dzeko
Only one not to miss away day for me..........newly promoted ......playing with confidence ..........local rivalry..........first trophy of the season North Ferriby Couple of pints summer sunshine and the prospect of a season full of possibilities laying ahead. Gone all dewy eyed at the thought
I won't be able to get too many. Problem with that league is i'm priced out. Hoping we get someone in the cups that i've not been to yet.
Neutrals, neutrals, give us a song! I am looking forward to Manchester Citeh and Stoke as I didn't get to go to those games last time around. I would add Sunderland to that list but I would like to see them go down. The irony of watching them pass us in the opposite direction having sacked the manager that got us promoted will be sweet.
All of them. I honesty can't think of a single game I've not been excited about, even **** holes like Luton back in the day. I get excited just watching any bunch of blokes kicking a ball around if Im honest...
Defo in front of Chester on this season's form. He's been well below his own excellent standard and was the worst player on the pitch on Saturday. How many times did he just pass it to a Cardiff player under no pressure whatsoever? If he does that in the Prem it's a goal every time.
Glad I'm not the only one that's been seeing this, I hope the lad can make the step up to the big league, he looked a future premier league centre back last season but on recent form he looks like he might struggle.
Chester was poor on Saturday. But he's still one of the best defenders in the division and deserves to be playing in the PL, as does Hobbs. EDIT: Look at me saying best in the division, we aren't even in that division any more!
I like Sid James Park. We are 100% up there in the PL at the moment. As for Turner, we need an experienced PL CB who would be well within the clubs price range and Turns fits that bill. A back 3 of Hobbs - Turner - Chester with Faye, McShane and Bruce jnr as back ups / Cup game players looks pretty good to me.
The back rows at Upton Park are worse, it's like watching a game through a second world war gun turret.
They should also have away ticket purchases for away games this season. Huddersfield for starters, did we have any more all ticket away days?
