When Adam Pearson took over there seemed to be free tickets for kids being given out left right and centre, especially once we had moved to the new stadium.

Surely whoever came in would be savvy enough to do something similar to build that fan base once again. It’s not just the free ticket that benefits he club but the adult who would normally go with them would then be buying a ticket that may not have been sold if the free ticket hadn’t been given.

If they can get the same kids and parents going like that, they are filling the ground while also building the next generation of fans.
Correct, the club offered a certain amount of free tickets to Hull Boys Sunday League which could be purchased with the boys clubs affiliation number. I remember taking my U7's at that time, it was a great team bonding session for the lads at that age coupled with getting some of the lads whose parents had them in Liverpool and Man U shirts finally interested in City

and there you hit a nail on it's head

on the Happyallam thread Ehab clearly points out the fact that tickets were given out to kids as something unsavoury and something he is glad he stamped out

tells you everything really

We have fans who would moan they have paid for their tickets why should others get in for free?

Who can tell in our glorious city?

Real Madrid seem to have lost half their usual fans in the stadium since Ronaldo's ****ed off.

Obviously we'll blame the Allams, but football aint what it used to be, doesn't mean what it used to, and is easier to consume for those that can't be arsed actively supporting a club.

Which stadium is that?

The first ever City game I went to I got a free ticket from school , it was everybody in our school football team

Likewise, but we had plastic tokens, bit like the bus tokens we got in those days, and they had to be returned to school on the Monday morning, not sure if they were used for midweek games or if they were valid for cup matches.

You would nowadays the worlds changed.
You'll get ****s moaning when oaps get concessions again too.

On the happyallam account, it boasts it’s gotten 2k complimentary tickets per game down to 200.

No idea where 2k tickets were going. Doubt many were for kids in football teams and school kids.

One way of getting it down will have been charging kids in the academy to see the game.

Only nobody did, Pearson never got any grief for giving tickets to Hull Boys.

When it was suggested reduced price tickets be sold to get the crowds up plenty complained on forums, HDM comments and RH phone ins about what was the point of buying a season pasx ifbthat happened, how unfair it was etc...Maybe your definiyion of nobody is different.
