Correct, the club offered a certain amount of free tickets to Hull Boys Sunday League which could be purchased with the boys clubs affiliation number. I remember taking my U7's at that time, it was a great team bonding session for the lads at that age coupled with getting some of the lads whose parents had them in Liverpool and Man U shirts finally interested in CityWhen Adam Pearson took over there seemed to be free tickets for kids being given out left right and centre, especially once we had moved to the new stadium.
Surely whoever came in would be savvy enough to do something similar to build that fan base once again. It’s not just the free ticket that benefits he club but the adult who would normally go with them would then be buying a ticket that may not have been sold if the free ticket hadn’t been given.
If they can get the same kids and parents going like that, they are filling the ground while also building the next generation of fans.
