I’ve had a chilli made with that weird meat substitute. Was decent to be fair.

We had baked cod with a brown butter an lemon sauce, cheesy mash with spring onion and runner beans.

Was very good.

Doesn't need to be fried, no.

Apparently it's better if you do but everytime I use it, it's fine.

I used dice beef in my chilli, will post finished pics when I plate up!

Chefs on the tele would fry it first but when something is cooked for 6 hours I can't see that bit of frying making a lot of difference.
