I'll be there. It's one of the best away days imo. You can stand and sing and you don't get the name changers/half and half scarfers etc.

I've just spoken with ticket line, they're only up to row G and starting from bottom up (facepalm). Think there will be any issue standing further up if i bought tickets now? don't want to be stuck sat down!

Go past the ground on A41, pub on same side of the road (Royal Oak ?) is owned by Asians, it may not be the most upmarket of places but we've had some good beer and scoff in there - been in a couple of decent pubs in reasonable walking distance from the railway station. As you say, it's a bit of an industrial estate close to the ground but there are pubs not that far away.

I might give it a go next time, I normally just park in the massive food factory as soon as you come off the motorway.

I think WBA has been unreserved seating every time I've been, which is a fair few times.

I'm unsure if I can make it as of yet.

I've just been to the ticket office and bought 5.
I particularly requested seats further back and the helpful fella on the desk went and got us some on Row R from another bundle of tickets.

Thank you, I might pop in tomorrow see what i can get from them. Cheers

Wasn't when we won 3-0 there.

I wasn't there that day, can't remember why, I remember watching it on a stream round my mates house.

I'm sure they just let you sit where you want at the Hawthorns... unless it's a sell out, then I bet they'll make you sit in your designated seats.

Last time I went I was on the next to top row. Was immediately tapped on the shoulder the first time
I stood up. Offered to swap places so I would be on back row but was told he had paid for his seat and he was going to sit there and expected me to sit as well so as he wouldn't have an interrupted view. I sat down and pointed out the 6' bloke in front of me was blocking my view. Would he like to tell him he was interrupting my view? It didn't bother me as I would happily stand. Ended up we both stood the whole game.

You could have sat anywhere in the entire ground that game, half their lot left at half time. <laugh>

Yeah. The police and stewards would have let you change stands if you wanted to.

One thing I remember was they let people outside for a cig and take their beer with them. I don't smoke but thought it was a good idea. A few years later the stadium in the pioneering, innovative Gateway
To Europe caught up. At least with the having a cig. The taking a drink with you is obviously a bit dangerous and a step too far for us yet.

I popped back in today, the next tickets he had where in Row Q so can't complain really.

We normally drive, but looking at going Tiger travel, any good? can you drink? or do you recommend any others or have a spare 2 seats?:emoticon-0103-cool:

Can you drink on Tiger Travel? You missed all the legislation regarding alcohol and travel when connected to football over the last 20 years then?

That's better than the previous post on what row we are up to.

The problem is they didn't advertise these tickets at all until Monday. Nothing on Facebook or Twitter and it was pretty hidden on the club site. Once the Arsenal game was out the way, they started advertising.

The club should be advertising games well in advance like other clubs do but it seems our ticket office is sometimes incapable of that.

West Brom away is a big game. I would have thought all the experts on here who spend endless hours telling the world what is wrong with Hull City will be there. Surprised Mr Hat isn't running his own bus with the following he has.
Or at least sat in the dug out advising Steve Bruce.
