I'm going, not been before so looking forward to a new ground. More importantly it's my daughters first away match which could be a bit of a eye opener for her as we're normally upper west. Well up for it!

I went last season, they have sniffer dogs at the ready before you set foot inside the stadium, and pat you down. (If I'm not getting confused with a different away game, I'm 95% sure it was West Brom) In the concourse the staff are behind a plastic window, and they take the lids' off all the bottles, which really infuriated me as I wanted a drink for the coach, without having to hold it so that it doesn't spill. But other than that, it's not bad. I'd say the layout is similar to Turf Moor, but not as small as Turf Moor.

Looking forward to it after yesterday. Never seen us lose at the Hawthorns and hoping for another good result.

Proper football ground and a good away day, some decent local pubs too. When WB were in The Championship they had a pretty loud set of fans, you'll enjoy it Cortez, you can stand w'out a lot of problem as the glamour hunters will probably be conspicuous by their absence, a la The SOL.

Proper prices for a game of football. I've never been to there but I'm tempted by them prices. Fingers crossed for some extra shifts next week!

It's on their site so it must be. Basically means two adults can take two under 10s for free.

I am going, I don't get to all the away games, and this is the first time I have seen WBA away since 1968. The last time was at Wembley Everton V WBA whereby Jeff Astle scored the extra time winner.

I've noticed more private coaches are popping up. There was probably 6 (on top of the 8 tiger travel) at Sunderland.

Not surprise as some people are getting fed up with the way TT is being run.

Decent local pubs? It's in the middle of an industrial estate and it's a ****-hole.

Though I did bump into Frank Skinner on the way out last season.

Go past the ground on A41, pub on same side of the road (Royal Oak ?) is owned by Asians, it may not be the most upmarket of places but we've had some good beer and scoff in there - been in a couple of decent pubs in reasonable walking distance from the railway station. As you say, it's a bit of an industrial estate close to the ground but there are pubs not that far away.
