might be worth checking opening times because most pubs round there don’t open until 11/12ish rather than for breakfast
I went there before Wycombe, met a few people from here and otr. @Smug in Boots knows how to organise a place and I would recommend it
Sorry, yes the pub opens at 11am … … I’m meeting a few people at 10am but they’re going to collect friends from Heathrow.
Jealous as owt here with everyone making Wembley plans, and still a week to go!! Seriously though, been a cracking thread this, and thoroughly enjoying reading everyone's plans for the weekend. Everyone going, hoy plenty pics up please.
Was just going to do the Saturday night but **** it, doing the Friday too. Been spoiled with Wembley visits the last few years but you never know when we’ll be back. Another memory I’ll get with my grandad, really really looking forward to next week. If we win, bloody hell, probably be the best weekend of my life
That’s always he problem. Told my lot last time (various groups travelling separately) to get there and was a great meeting point and just cut all the what ifs out. Just do it.
Yeah, unlike all the pubs around Wembley It was excellent last time, Wycombe, and easy to get served. They're happy to reserve areas inside for us, for those who want to eat, and outside as well. The appeal, for me, are the tourists and shoppers, who are genuinely interested in our team ... ... much better than being crammed in a 'football pub' with ear blasting music and plastic 'glasses'.
Add to that it's a good pint in a glass & yes it is kid, family, anyone friendly, very good choice of pub
I'd be wary about taking kids into some of the pubs around the stations or Wembley ... ... especially with Sheff Utd coming down with their contingent of idiots.
FFS. I’m as far from the far end as I could be with sight problems, and there’s loads left now. Ridiculous it’s taken them that long and the comms were so poor
