I had a ticket for Boxpark before the Wycombe game but the queues were horrendous so didn’t bother. I’m really looking forward to the meet up in the Argyle. Looks like a smashing pub and the food menu is right up my street!!
My "Wembley" plans.... Obviously can't go, so will spend the Friday night with a mix of watching Super Dan Ballards goal from every angle, again, watching fan videos of it...anything to do with that game really. There should be a live stream of Trafalgar Square, so will watch that as well. Added to reading through the excellent match thread on here by @RTB, who has done us proud all season, that will set me up nicely for the Satuday. Saturday will more than likely be a repeat of Friday, then watch the match and cheer the lads on from wintery Consett. Then off out with the Mrs to see a Free/Bad Company tribute band in Blyth. To all those going, hope you all have the best weekend ever.
This is the message I had from Sophie at the Argyll. May 16th, 2025 10:09 AM Dear Smug, Thank you for getting in touch. We would be delighted to have you back, and I really appreciate the heads up! I have been told most of you will probably be outside, weather permitting, but did you want an area booked for those who would like to eat before the game? You will not all fit in one area, but I thought this could be handy to have some tables available. Same question applies for after, if you do know what time you will be back we will happily reserve something for you! Many thanks, Sophie
For anyone driving down and struggling to find parking. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/foo...31&cvid=5e21c8c638594657a7043b8fa15e9819&ei=9
I opted for Wembley official parking in the end. Done it before- it’s easy / convenient so will likely be looking for a pub close to Wembley.
Do we have any idea where people may be meeting on the Saturday before the match? Think we might just head to covent garden for a bit and see how it goes.
Sc holder went on site 1 hour ago, saw 3 available seats, failed with 1st selection but was successful with second attempt. Just keep trying hope you're as successful.
What time are you meeting at the Argyle and is it teenager friendly? Not sure what the others are doing and I'll be in town early with my 13yr old lad.
Definitely a teenager friendly pub mate, the outside has tables and chairs plus a wide street so loads of room. I'll be eating there so will plan to arrive around 10am at the latest.
This might be my new plan. Everyone I'm meant to be meeting up with etc keep changing their plans. Going to make this a weekend to remember for the boyo!
