Welcome mate, hope you enjoy it.

I remember Peter Daniel well but, sadly, mainly for a terrible shout I made in the Fulwell End one night match.

He made a mess of a chance and the whole end went quiet. I shouted out 'That was desperate Daniel' and they booed me <laugh>

<laugh> Just got that one.

Hello everyone.
Been on here for just over a year but hadn't noticed this thread until recently to introduce myself properly.
Joined to get a more balanced view rather than the extreme views on RTG.
Been supporting the lads since early 60s, initially from Bishop Middleham, Bishop Auckland then from Ferryhill (Martindale's where I was regularly picked-up on the M1 at the Loughborough roundabout.
My 3 sons have all been brought up right and have been season ticket holders at some point with the youngest still going home and away with the Trimdon lads.

Welcome mate. You certainly get more balanced views on here and less/no wums

Enjoy mate. Like you Im an elder statesman!!!

Hi everyone. I finally signed up after lurking for around a year. Been supporting the lads since i got my 1st strip as a 4 year old in 1978, first match a 1-0 win against Man City in 1981.

Joined this board as RTG is getting plain stupid with all the idiots who attack anyone with a different view to them.

I'm Coops over there, but was the original Gromit on RTG from back in the 1990's, but somehow lost the name early 2000's.

Hello all.

Long time lurker here (and over the road - was easier to not post info I used to get as the stick was laughable at times).

Things seem a lot more chilled and measured here so now seems a good time to get involved, particularly with what will hopefully go down as a major turning point for this god-forsaken club of ours. The avatar gives you an idea of when I fell in love - I'm not one of those pictured but that's my generation.

All the best lads & lasses

Alrighty everyone. Washy mackem been following SAFC for yonks. I once arranged our summer holiday around pre season tour of Devon. My wife was quite surprised when we got to Exeter at 2.30 on a Sat in time for a pint before kickoff. Had enough of currents owners, drove me to fall out of love with club. Stopped going in Jan 20, it was too stressful for me. Not long afterwards, everyone stopped going! :emoticon-0101-sadsm
Welcome mate, fellow Washy Mackem. Haven't fallen out with club but getting used to watching matches in comfort of home instead of going to SOL. Renewed season ticket out of blind loyalty.........and stupidity. Who knows what I'll do next season. Anyway enjoy forum
