Dawdon eh. I knock about with Dawdonians that live up the top end now. You might know the Deftys that’s a couple of them and a Watson, depends what age you are cos I think you moved away?

 

The Deftys, haha lived about a street away from us, I think he had about 5 sons, but kept trying for a daughter, I did kick around with one of them for a while, Paul? It was ages ago

I think I was a couple of years older, went out shooting rats and everything else a few times, my dad and his dad were good mates, they were there at my first home game

Gutted I had no brothers, only a sister, then it carried on, 3 daughters, no son. But I have 3 grandsons, one of them 16 on saturday, not one of them supports the lads so I have failed (
