Welcome all of you 'newbies' from RTG
Your visit might be brief . . . . you might not like it here, but I/we hope that you enjoy our (mainly) friendly forum while you're here
It's nowhere near as busy as RTG, it's much more relaxed and you may become bored, but hopefully not and you stay and contribute long term, which in turn would enhance the overall enjoyment for us all

It's amazing, though, how some join and then quickly disappear when they just can't cope with that.
It just shows that many RTG posters are there simply to argue and provoke arguments.
Their greatest joy is piling in, with their clique, screaming 'meltdown' while completely ignoring the thread topic.
They can't handle actual debate so feel lost on a forum where people's opinions are at least respected.
respect is generally lacking in society as a whole these days as has been writ large with the outbreak of this virus. That forum over the last 5 years or so has turned it into an art form.

British society is becoming rancid - I wonder more and more how people can keep saying they are proud to be British .
There's a nastiness that I really don't like.
I see, so many times, loud bombastic people saying things like 'this is how I am, take it or leave it, if you don't like it just jog on'.
Believe me, I need no encouragement to 'jog away' from loudmouth oafs like that.
They're always shouting 'I know my rights' ...
... but they certainly don't know their responsibilities.
It will get worse. The words and definitions of responsibility, respect , compassion etc have been removed from the dictionary of the young. - and as Big Pete has just said -scum raising scum - they ain't going to be taught

I removed someone from FB that I used to go to school with.
He posted saying how was buzzing that don't need to sign on due to the Coronavirus... So you have people pretty much suffocating to death and that tramp is happy because he doesn't have to sign on anymore!
If I had heard that in person I would have had to walk away or else would have clipped him.... he has 4 kids and 1 of them has 1.
That's the future of Britain right there...
Possibly scum parents in the 80s-90's maybe raised from the scum you had in the 50s and 60s as I imagine there wouldn't have been too many work shy around those times (I was born in 80s)
Now all those my age whos parents we're either scum or didn't give a **** have passed their morals or lack of downwards and so on...
