So we do we all reckon we're gonna play our first home game against?

Didn't comment on this thread because I just didn't have the confidence others did.

****ing fair play to the lot who did.

What a day for the club. Broken through the glass ceiling without the benefit of parachute payments or irresponsible short term spending.

Feels like a bright and fresh start.

As the very worst case scenario we go down next year and we are back in the championship with parachute payments and a squad with premier league experience.

Really very optimistic. Well played KLD, RLB, KS and team. Remarkable achievement.

Said when we were playing Coventry I wouldn't sing que será será until the final whistle went and it was confirmed. Same again yesterday with singing it.

Still hasn't really sunk in we are back where we belong.

What a club man, what a city and what a bunch of fans.

Your talking about a bloke who was at Wembley and spent 75 minutes on here snagging off everything safc, strange behaviour
Exactly, supporting the team as I have done all season

A few daft words on a message board means **** all. Less than 10 posts over a few hours, there was more than me posting during the game :emoticon-0148-yes:

I forgot, you’re another of Reiver’s cult.

Yeah the same repeated posts from every match thread, I wouldn't say they were supporting the team.
As for Smug, I find him to have very similar opinions to myself on so many things, not just football. That has nothing to do with being in his cult.
Some of us can see the bigger picture, like the last 6 games of the season, you windged and moaned about how **** we were, how RLB didn't know what he was doing.
Take the last game of the season when he played Jobe in the defensive roll , didn't do much for that game but I wonder why he did something so silly.
Oh hang on, we needed to get back into the game, we needed to go 442, but we needed Le Fee inthe middle so he takes Neil off and drops Jobe in to that defensive position.
I thought we were unbelievable yesterday, yes we didn't play well like in the semis but what we have done in those games is won when we haven't played well.
Apparently that shows how good a team you are, I'm sure that's what I heard when Sheff Utd were doing it.
Right now I'm on top of the world however when the new season starts I think I'll probably bow out from here, certain posters will turn it into a pit of misery when we aren't winning 3-0 every week

What is wrote on a daft forum has no single effect on the team whatsoever. Literally zero. Being there cheering the lads on does matter and that’s what I’ll continue doing :emoticon-0148-yes:

As for next season, we know it’ll be a slog. Nobody expects to win 3-0 every week

We’ll be lucky to win 8 games but give me the PL over the championship all day, every day.

I can’t reply on the match day thread so I’ll reply to you on here…

You didn’t want Sunderland to win promotion so don’t accuse me of talking ****e

I was actually there yesterday supporting the football club :emoticon-0148-yes:

Enjoy the PL sat on your arse at home. I’ll continue actually supporting Sunderland

i refer the honourable members to the title of this thread...

the man who started it has kept faith all the way through, he is one of the posters that kept me on the level across the season when i had doubts...now i would not put it past him to do it just to get certain peoples backs up but i prefer to think he really was positive about the club.

now, if any of our regular coaches are reading, did RLB try the lads in a more 'zones' style in those last few games as i thought i noticed players 'standing off' at times as if waiting for play to enter thier 'region'...i mean i normally cannot tell if a team changes anything so i am probably wrong.

Obviously you didn’t read all my posts so I won’t bother wasting my time with a boring negative twat like you.

Well the day after and I woke up thinking it had all been a dream (or the drink) but here we are absolutely incredible from the lads and backed superbly for the 3 games we had to win it. Everyone should pat theirselves on the back. Magnificent team and magnificent support take a bow lads and lasses :emoticon-0139-bow:

I was at Wembley yesterday and the only time I posted on here was after the final whistle when I said that we actually ****ing did it and got promoted. Can't understand people who say they support the club and spend time posting on a forum when they're supposedly at a match
