Yeah his record in them is very good but that Millwall side should be one we beat. At the end of the day, no bad teams make the playoffs so it'll be tough no matter who we face
There’s bound to be a huge upset like Blackburn at Millwall when we were at Preston … … I just hope all the playoff hopefuls come off the pitch, tomorrow, mentally and physically drained. There’s not many days until the first leg.
It really is. We've reached the playoffs in RLB's first season ... ... whatever else has happened that's a fact. Other teams are still scrambling to join us!
What’s notable for me is that whilst media and youtubers are all being fairly negative about Sunderland (generally based around stats and results) the players in interviews have been a lot more pragmatic in their assessment of the situation. DN was very positive and almost upbeat, even a youngster like Chris Rigg telling the supporters to stick together as the team needs everybody pulling in the same direction. RLB seems the calmest man around as if it is all going to plan. Maybe it is me clutching at straws but I become less worried the closer it gets, maybe just maybe the results are not good but the preparation is great. I guess time will tell. If we believe the the players will believe, if we as fans can create belief then there is no stopping us. STID Rant owa
Right. I have had a reflectibe slurp. Now is the time to support with every last ounce of our energy. Despite what my eyes tell me, I am going to believe. I still have maximum faith in players we have. I refuse to give up to the fat lady has left the building. Only then will I reflect on our success and next steps. Coventry have a ****e gaffer. I am convinced of that. I saw his arse fall out at Wembley when he was in charge at Derby. If we lose to him I will be furious. We need Regis now to show his mettle. It is in his hands. We need Neil, Mepham, Jobe, Le Fee to take control and be accountable once that white line is crossed. Now it is about attitude, pure and simple. They have the ability to win all 3 games, but they need to show the desire. I saw two reckless tackles from us today, that at least shows they are frustrated. Fortune favours the brave Regis. Time to take off the shackles. Our front 4 should be all in - Mundle, Le Fee, Watson and Mayenda. All about freedom to play now. That 4 should be terrifying at this level. Pace, power, skill and guile. Neil as the 6, creating our tempo, slow fast slow fast. Jobe as our 8 - all agression and running power. Bombing beyond Le Fee. Mepham and Ballard, with Neil dropping in when we are over committed. We have to score goals and committing players forward is our best bet. Haway me bonny lads. 3 games to go. In our hands.
I daresay he is remembering the game at their place. I know Leeds supporters who reckon it waa the moment they believed they would go on. We now need to remember how we played that day and against others. Time to believe folks
