You could also probably add Clint to those two as well.

Correct. There's a lot of nostalgia about that season but the football we played was largely crap. We bludgeoned our way to promotion but it was fantastic because that's what you have to do in this division. The uglier the better and boy was that season ugly! (Taraabt's moments of genius aside)

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with the premise that we need stability.

However, doing a Wigan could set us back years and years.
Also, if we don't use Austin, Fer, Chery and Sandro this year, they won't be around next season. We need to be getting the best out of this squad.

I'm sure I have read somewhere that Sunderland want Sandro so maybe moving him would be a good move. The financial fair play saga drifts on so maybe TF is worried abut that.
CR has had to deal with (the infectious )Mackie being injured and bringing in freebies (well we did spend at Swindon) so maybe having smaller budget affected. Still wondering why we loaned out Caulker and he isn't playing, especially if the defence is somewhat suspect. Listening to radio at work, commentator was surprised that such an experienced back 4 can be so ineffective (I believe those were the words used). Also, whenever CR speaks on the radio he doesn't appear to have the passion of Colin, so maybe use him as the voice piece for the club and let CR focus on training ground. If only Derry and Clint Hill were 10 years younger..........(mind you I could say the exact same words about myself) I'm sure the team would be different.

When I finally write my autobiography, I might end up with a separate book on being a Rangers fan......The Trials and Tribulations of following the Superhoops!!

........or perhaps one of those hens.

I wonder if Ramsey would be prepared to admit and accept his management shortcomings and return to a coaching role, allowing Warnock to take over the reigns.

You could all come and visit me in the West Country.

Do you think Neil would give me a lift to LR to see a match, he only lives a few miles away from me!

This "dream manager" seems to be getting the job done at Derby County, although he would no doubt like to tighten up their defence. Chris Martin even missed a penalty to make his hat-trick.

    Derby 4-2 Wolves (80 mins)
This is the first time Derby have scored four since Paul Clement took charge in the summer.
After that Adam Le Fondre goal, he'll be hoping it is not the first time they conceded four.

Would be nice if we could also do this:-

Derby County manager Paul Clement names an unchanged side for today's game with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Read more at: https://tr.im/hWCTm

Wonder what chance when Villa inevitably part company with Sherwood and we with Ramsay if Tony and Les would try for dear old Tim again?

Has a certain inevitability about it. Just as the inevitable sniping will start after the first game that they're rubbish, the football isn't good enough or sexy enough. It's written in the stars. It will then be time for the next big beast among yesterday's glory men to rescue us from mediocrity in the PL and bring in his own trusted overpriced overhyped mercenaries. Just remember that the vast majority of you were drooling over the turn around that Warnock not Hughes, not Redknapp engineered in our fortunes from near certain relegation candidates to the PL in 15 months. How swiftly you all forgot that. Akunna matata? Or circle of life as a QPR fan under Fernandes.

TF running club like a fool IMO
However CR is sounding shot in the BBC interview
Something is again going to happen because we just can't sit still
The fear of us doing poorly just can't be accepted by some fans
    Infected
I said 14th but also because of the players we have we could be in the mix for a play off with the other 10 teams
Panic after 11 games by TF looks crazy to me
Why? Because if he did get NW and CR working and we get up this year
Where exactly are we again ?
Oh in the same place a club who will need to get 80k players in again or we will down again
NW is there just to get Adel back I hope
TF needs us to go up just for the money ... What a mess

The team we have now is much much better on paper than the team Warnock took up.
I agree Adel was magic for a decent part of the season.
How could Warnock being in charge be anything other than an improvement for the team.
If we got going then kept the 5 premiership quality players
we can hand it over to Mr McClaren in the summer.
That is not such a move away from steadying the ship. Half the team will have been here 3 or 4 seasons & we get Joey back!
The pot of gold is too great and we have too many good players now (with a decent manager) to let it slide any further
(Obviously I mean keep Polter, Green,Perch, Hoilett, Henry)

This all day long. Warnock would do more for the team in one game than Benny has all season. It really frustrates me watching QPR at the moment. For this so called great coach his tactics are questionable. I cannot believe that TF put him in charge.Wrong bloke wrong division, get rid

    http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/clubs/qpr/article4436969.ece

Neil Warnock believes that Queens Park Rangers need an experienced manager to lead the club back into the top flight next season and says it would be wrong to hand the job to Chris Ramsey on a permanent basis.

Hope Sir Alf doesn't get hold of a back copy of The Times.... otherwise it's Jason Puncheon all over again...
