Don't know Stan? Maybe he can see things from his vantage point in the stands that Ramsey can't see at ground level.......maybe he's a sounding board for Ramsey, maybe Good Cop, Bad Cop?..........certainly doesn't improve the wages debit in the accounts.......
I know what you mean but I would have thought an advisory role would have been more of a training ground role, this almost seems like he's jointly managing the team on matchdays, fail to see how that doesn't undermine Ramsey's position really, similar to what sb_73 said.
There doesn't have to be a problem here as long as Colin adds his advice, contributions and encouragement, without contradicting Ramsey in the dreason room. Same with any of the Coaching staff. Colin''s experience in this League could be ideal.
