After another defeat today, Warnock could be in charge very soon.

If CR hears wings flapping on the coach back from Brum, it's the sound of vultures gathering... He's living on borrowed time

He really is struggling imo. He should be doing better with the players at his disposal.

Yes, he's struggling, if he'd tightened up the defence it would be different but we've become a soft touch. I'd be happy seeing NW take over

Trouble is, how long should they leave Ramsey to his own devices, struggling from week to week?
Yes, we need to be patient, but relegation really mustn't happen!

Of course I did Col and the football we played was full of passion and I always thought we had a chance in games. However, don't kid yourself that the football was good. Paddy would hoof it forward, Helguson would try and win it, Mackie would run his socks off to win the knock downs and then we'd give it to Adel and hope he and (later on in the season) Routledge would create chances.

Thats all very well in The Championship and has worked for Warnock a lot. My point is that I was under the impression we were trying to move away from that to a more measured build up and possession style of play with young players with a bit to prove.

Warnock, at 67 (or however old he is) is not likely to change and the squad is not built to play that way now.

I never thought Ramsey was right but Warnock is a step backwards.

He could always stay in the Midlands and join this crowd for another relegation bash.

Who knows, it might work. And you have to react when things aren't going to plan. But we've never had a plan. 5 days ago we were consolidating, now we are supposedly pushing for promotion (which was the only option once we failed to sell Austin, Phillips, Fer and Green). If the target is promotion it's easy enough to say to Ramsey XX points by this date or you're out, and if it's obvious we won't get there you're out earlier. Then we get on the merry go round with someone else, until we get it right, which might be never.

But what is essential is that someone in authority is saying this is how QPR play football, and we do it at every level of the club, this is our recruitment policy and we will stick to it, this is our youth strategy and we will deliver it. Who knows, might be happening, I'm not observing very closely. If you've got a solid foundation it would be preferable to have a long term manager to head it all up, but you could get away with changing managers if you know exactly the type you want, like Southampton and possibly Swansea.

That's way more than I want to write, or think, about QPR at the moment.

If bossing the championship and losing just a handful of games all season is a step backwards, then I'd happily accept that.
