Even Cult Walter members are starting to turn... At least they got laid under Manson and decent weather in Syria with ISIS.

In all seriousness, in the words of Bocelli and Brightman, it's time to say goodbye... It just isn't working.

What the **** is ‘Cult Walter’? The people who didn’t call for his head as early as August and September on the back of some friendlies and an entirely new squad getting to grips with his tactics and each other?

It hasn’t worked out. That happens in football.

Exactly this. Fair enough they "told us so". Well done have a pat on the back. Some of us wanted to at least give him a chance but admit it hasn't worked out and change is needed

Exactly what a member of a cult would write. Some wanted to give David Koresh and the Branch Davidians a chance. Shame it didn't work out, the apocalypse didn't happen and everyone died.

The people calling for his head in August / September highlighting that he appeared out of his depth & clueless were completely right,

It was obvious from the off.

“Cult Walter” is cringe though.

Well done. Give yourself a pat on the back. You're obviously not as easily led as some of us

Three wins in a row - well done us.

Take that out and his whole time here has been an unmitigated disaster.

Friendlies, Cup games, league games - without those 3 wins - we’ve been beyond woeful.

Two week International break with most players available for training, he’s achieved nothing.

He’s incapable of changing a game from the sidelines.

He disrespects the travelling fans.

I really don’t get why he hasn’t been sacked.

I was shocked when Liam was sacked.

Now I’m just angry and bewildered.
Liam was sacked because Acun spent a lot of money in the January window but LR continued his boring style. He persisted with alsop who let in a lot of soft goals when we have all send Pandur is much much better. Witjpiu those fort goals we would have made the play off. LR’s record at his new club in not good given the players he has. Walters a bad choice anchor most on here thought so at the time

The same Pandur that people were panicking about in preseason? Come on. We didn’t see what happened in training and in a playoff hunt I can see why Rosenior stuck with Allsopp.

I did ask someone before and never got an answer, but which “soft goals” did Allsop concede and which of those “soft goals” cost us points? As there were apparently “a lot” I’m expecting a long list. Thanks.

It was patently ****ing obvious by the time we threw away the game against a poor (on the day) Sheffield United that he is incapable of organising a professional football team.

This is like asking which drop of rain caused a river to burst its banks.

The answer is most of them.

Again, which goals did he concede that were “soft” and which cost us points?

Is this where you’re going to claim it being a false narrative in the back of nobody being bothered to go back and watch all last seasons highlights to give you a comprehensive list?

You remember one or two examples, when they’re the exception. When they’re the norm, they become insignificant and you remember them as a whole.

I couldn’t name a single one off the top of my head. But the answer is most of them.

Brace yourselves. The following might just blow your mind!!
Not sure how much of a mitigating factor it is for not sacking Walter ... but it is pretty staggering.
The so called 'Brains Team' want lining up and shooting, and then sacking just to make sure. This is truly shocking.

I thought I'd have a look at these stats, thinking it would maybe be another reason for sacking Walter for not getting the best out of what he's got. But it shows the dead opposite. But I'm still posting it out of my integrity and in fairness to Walter.

I looked into how many goals our players scored last season. Even if I've made the odd mistake (I don't think I have) it's absolutely mind blowing. No wonder we can't ****ing score!! How the **** exactly are we going to outscore the oppostion (one core tenant of Walterball)? How can our data analysis team, our 'brains trust', the coaching team have allowed this to happen? .....

Player / Played / Scored:
Coyle 42 / 1
Jones 45 / 1
Hughes 43 / 4
Drameh 30 / 0
Simons 18 / 1
Slater 41 / 2
Omur 33 / 0
Puerta 10 / 0
Kamara 55 / 10
Pedro 45 / 3 (note, Serie A Brazil 25 / 0 !! rest were in state, not national football).
So our starting 11 today had collectively a grand total of 22 goals in them last season!! Our starting CF had zero from 25 league games.

Subs today:
Bedia 36 / 17
Burstow 23 / 1
Giles 31 / 0
Jacob 15 /1
Longman 36 / 3
McLoughlin 26 / 0
Mehlem 21 / 3
Palmer 38 / 4
So take Bedia out of it, that's another 12. You can see why Bedia only gets 5 minutes here and there .... he's the only one who's proved he can find the net regularly (bar Pedro in his 2014 to 2022 vintage before his goals dried up post 30)

Out injured:
Belloumi 36 / 7
Millar 40 / 7
Alzate 20 / 1
A bit more respectable if taken in isolation.

Out of MD Squad:
Burns 37 / 0
Vaughan 21 / 0
Zambrano 48 / 1
Sinik 11 / 1
Jarvis 42 / 12 (you can maybe see why Jarvis isn't hitting it off with Walter?)

So, our senior squad of 26 outfield players amassed a massive 80 goals between them. Divide 80 goals by 26 outfield players, multiply by 10 (as the starting outfield players) = 30.7 !!! And we've now lost 14 of those 80 with Belloumi and Millar out for the season (which would take 30.7 down to just 27.5!!). And a fair few of them were at a standard below the Championship - all of Bedias, Kamaras, Jarvis's!!

Where the hell did the 'brains team' and Walter think our goals were going to come from?

How much mitigation it provides for Walter I'm not sure, as I still don't think he's getting the best out of the squad, plus he & his assistants are at least partly culpable for allowing it to happen. But seriously, WTF!!

You're wrong, but you won’t admit it. You’re saying that most of the goals we conceded last season were soft, Allsopp’s fault, and cost us points nearly every time? The original post suggested the “many” soft goals he conceded cost us a place in the play offs, it’s utter bollocks.
