We're in a strange and awkward situation now. The team is clearly going nowhere. We often play alright but still get comfortably beaten and we're not getting any better as the games go on. The club seems committed to sticking with the manager but he's completely lost the fans, so every game leads to renewed calls for him to be sacked, and the situation just remains consistently toxic. What next?
If he isn’t sacked by Tuesday he’ll be sacked after Wednesday beat us

Is it possible that we really don't have money to cover his compensation? Somebody said that before in this thread, I will start to believe in that nonsense soon.

There's the thing, I don't think we are playing his style. He wants us to play the ball forward quicker, and when we don't, he flaps. He flaps regularly though, and eventually you should realise you need to adapt if you don't have the staff to play how you want.
Thing is sometimes we do play it the Walter way, we just conk out when it comes to finding the net. It seems to be a combination of poor decision making, poor quality crossing and finishing, but more about a lack of confidence about how to actually score.

Three wins in a row - well done us.

Take that out and his whole time here has been an unmitigated disaster.

Friendlies, Cup games, league games - without those 3 wins - we’ve been beyond woeful.

Two week International break with most players available for training, he’s achieved nothing.

He’s incapable of changing a game from the sidelines.

He disrespects the travelling fans.

I really don’t get why he hasn’t been sacked.

I was shocked when Liam was sacked.

Now I’m just angry and bewildered.

For those with heads still rooted up their arses there’s an International break in March. Maybe, just maybe, after that …

Owner should have acted in August or September when it was obvious Walter was drowning in inadequacy. Because of this ego induced delay we’re now more likely to go down than get the top 6 finish the owner said was achievable.

Feel only apathy towards the team
Get the clown ****ing out

Its actually ridiculous now

Quite possibly. In which case just put him on gardening leave, and have Dawson in interim, helped by Sellars if necessary. Can’t be worse. When Daws was in charge he got a good tune out of Longman, and Longman and Kamara are our best hopes of goals. But Kamara prefers the right, and Longman is ok on the left. Just swap them round. Or go to 3-5-2. But just do something. At the moment, it’s just hitting heads against a brick wall and wondering why it hurts.

Even Cult Walter members are starting to turn... At least they got laid under Manson and decent weather in Syria with ISIS.

In all seriousness, in the words of Bocelli and Brightman, it's time to say goodbye... It just isn't working.

What I find very odd is that Walter will say we played well etc. after the match but during the game he acts like a disgruntled fan and throws his arms about…it’s your team playing your style mate.

At least Rosey used to constantly clap and cheer the side on.
This is a great point, he was doing my head in today with his flapping and shrugging and generally being negative. Compared him with Edwards a few times who was the opposite - calm, assured, and that was when his team were stinking the place up.
